Cool video. I just picked up an accutouch site. I have my dovetail bar further out, but the peep has the site housing in full view. As I start dialing in my distances will I have an issue with yardage? My bow speed is probably around 250 fps. My scope housing is attached to the top of the delrin elevation bar. I’m only looking to shoot from 15-60 yards, but if I can get more yardage that will be ok!!! Thanks, Sean
Yardage depends on many different factors, FPS of bow, sight housing distance (further away less gap, but harder to stabilize), peep height adjustment, arrows etc. Play around with it, if you’re not getting the yardage you want, adjust peep height
How does moving your sight in and out make your bow faster or slower🤣🤣🤣 the adjustment is for diffrent magnifications on your scope you move it out to get more magnification!

I've shot archery for a while but have never hunted with them and hope to give it a shot in the 2021 season. I like the idea of a single pin for target shooting. In a real world application, how well would a single pin work for hunting? Or, do you think a three pin would be a better option. Concern for hunting is to be able to change the distance on a single pin. Guess I could always but a second scope or even sight but that's a lot of dough.
@@GeLeeOutdoors Great points, thanks for the response! I may have been overthinking it but I too would likely be shooting out to a distance no more than 30-35 yards. I like the idea of setting the pin at some intermediate range, practice to see what the offset is, then aim for that offset.
Great video! I'm currently running a spot hogg fast eddie xl and was thinking of changing to this due to weight. I saw that you switched from CBE for the same reason - would you say you say your bow overall felt significantly lighter after switching over?
@@gohardfast he actually did respond, not sure why it disappeared.... but he basically said yes every ounce matters. I personally recently made the switch about a month and a half ago - if you held both sights together side by side you will definitely notice that the Spot Hogg is heavier. However, when I was shooting my bow it honestly didn't feel as much lighter as I hoped it would. That being said, one interesting thing that I noticed was that when I switched to the Axcel sight, the sight reduced vibration on my bow which was a pretty big unexpected plus. Hope that helps.
Not sure where my comment went, but it is lighter. I did notice in weight carrying the bow in general. I walk 1 - 1 1/2 miles to my hunting spots, and saving every ounce counts in my book
I did not notice any vibration noises when I switched. I have heard of possible loose screws causing vibration noises, I’ve heard more of this on the CBE than the Axcel
I was torn between that sight and the Option 8. I eventually went Option 8 because I felt I could get more yardage out of it. Like to know your arrow speed and what yardage your sight will drop to. I'm shooting a 31.5 VXR 31in 70lb 463gn @295 and my max yardage I can move to is 121yards Thankyou Great video

I meant to say, moving your sight inward will decrease pin gap, moving it outward will increase pin gap

Thanks to your vid, I did a little more research and found that they updated their Accustat II scope. I'm pulling the trigger on one of these now.
How does it compare to the CBE? What are you using the site for? Hunting? 3D? Target?
