Idk if anyone wants to follow my music. But here is the latest update from a current song I'm working on: th-cam.com/video/inPMnZPi8fk/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared - after being ripped off by spotify, I move to putting my songs on this channel
I had the earlier one without the chorus think it was just a hundred watt vs100 late 90s, used to gig all over the place with it, i had a 2x12 1936 extension cab to go with it. I have just bought a VS265 second hand i saw on marketplace, everything works i couldn't believe it, such a great amp with the 3 channels reverb and chorus. I think it sounds pretty good when using active pickups for the overdrive but that maybe just me.
I was a stupid idiot for selling this amp in 1993. I could have kept it at my apartment to practice with and kept the Valvestate stack I replaced it with at our rehearsal space so that I didn't have to keep toting the head back and forth and leave 1 cab at rehearsal and the other in the apartment. I could have just brought my guitar back and forth. However, I used the money from the sale to put towards the stack, and being a broke college student, did not have the luxury of owning both at the same time. Yours sounds great! And yes I got mine because of Chuck
I bought a vs265 last week and so far it's pretty fucking awesome. I can only imagine hooking up 2 4x12 cabs to it holy shit! Does yours have the stock Goldback speakers? If so, how do you like them? Cheers
Yeah. Such as fantastic amp! Mine has the Goldback speakers in it. I also have it rigged up to a boss me-25. I love writing tunes with it. Enjoy the amp!

I had a vs265 that i bought new in 1997.. had it hooked up to a twin cab too. Worst thing i ever did was sell it in mid 2000s
You can get them quite cheap. It's worth a look around for another one. All the best
