    🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
    🎬 Storyboards are crucial for presenting video or movie ideas but can be time-consuming to create.
    🤖 AI tools can streamline the process of creating professional storyboards from scripts.
    📝 Use AI to write a script, then refine it into a storyboard with GPT's assistance.
    📊 Formatting the storyboard as a table is essential for structuring it effectively.
    💻 Exporting the storyboard as a CSV file allows for easy organization and input into specialized tools like Katalist.
    🖼️ Katalist simplifies the process of generating and organizing storyboards while maintaining consistency in characters and scenes.
    🔄 Iterate on generated visuals to refine the storyboard according to preferences.
    📝 Finalized storyboards can be used for presentations or further processing into videos.

I'm too secretive to tell all my prompt sauce secrets, but these are the basics. Midjourney has been therapeutic for me. Describe and blend have been my favorite features lately for regenerating awful images from earlier versions. While anyone can do it, it does require actual imagination.

      Basically forever. I frequently search for older images on my server (not directly MJ but posted the same way) from years and years ago. I’d recommend saving and organizing them locally, still, but they don’t vanish unless you delete the channels/servers

      @@analog-dreams no i mean to use the /imagine command in the bot's "private chat" with you, not the public chat channels. same thing just not a bunch of people typing and generating. .You have all your generated images on the midjurney website anyways. so i dont understand how organization would be an issue.,Anyway, i stopped using midjourney and installed SD locally. steeper learning curve for sure, but once i got the hang of it, it's more advanced and flexible. and not the least free.

      It absolutely changes nothing about the actual image dimensions Midjourney generates. You cannot change that.

      @@analog-dreams I guess I am mistaken. But I am looking at my creations and wondering how, as an example, one of my generated previews of 4 variations is1920x2400, and an upscaled image from that same set is 960x1200? Each upscale is the same size as it is in my initial render of 4? How is this an upscale if the dimensions are the same?

    • @analog-dreams

      @@analog-dreams okay, well that's what originally got my attention, because you said at 7:55 that the 4 generated previews were lower rez and not really useful, when in fact the previews ARE actually high rez. All along I thought it was due to the 8k keyword in the prompt. Either way, glad the preview variations are now automatically high rez and not lower rez like you mentioned. 👍

    I would argue that using artists names makes your images more midjourney generic. I only use artists names when there's something specific I want to get from the image but using artists introduces a level of bias in the outputs that most of the time generates images that I don't really want.

    "Renaissance gothic painting!" (two very different styles of art from two periods of time, often using words they just dont understand). Its funny watching people wholeheartedly embracing their "artistic spirit" because they can string together a few prompts, separated by commas. All for AI to work its totally randomised magic. It's almost like watching someone navigate a maze with a blindfold on. The blindfold I refer to is their lack of artistic education and any interest in art, or lighting, or color theory, or composition, prior to the invention of AI art creation.
    This absence of any Photoshop prowess unfortunately also prevents them from engaging or having control over the outcome of their "a few minutes typing" endeavours may have produced. Sorry to be so negative, but it kind of grates,

    • @analog-dreams
      @analog-dreams  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s almost as if combining elements from the different styles is, in part, the point. Especially when trying to manipulate an algorithm that (as you said) is prone to randomness.
      I come from an art background, just not a painting one. I’ve been a photographer for 15 years, been using photoshop longer.
      I studied art history a fair bit in college
      You’re preaching to the wrong crowd here buddy

    You know, I can't tell you how to run your business, but as a career visual artist I'm pretty disappointed to see this here. I found it looking at your gumroad for your OBS masterclass. I think you've demonstrated you're a very smart person, I think it should be clear to you that AI apps like Midjourney are implemented, at best, in ethically murky ways. Selling and teaching prompts feels like pure hucksterism to me. While I'm sure you have some insight into the process, this still changes how I have felt about you, and I think you put it on this second channel for a reason. Idk, man, I really like you and how thoughtful you are, and I don't like this.

    • @analog-dreams
      @analog-dreams  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I put it on a second channel because my art projects (AI or otherwise) don’t fit in or do well on main. And thus this channel has exploded in a crucial way to me surviving this year as a result.
      As a lifetime artist I do get the concerns and I think it’s important to navigate them with consideration. But my career has been built on democratizing creative tech and that applies here, too

      Gatekeeping “skill” when using an ai art tool. Hilarious.

    • @alien8070
      @alien8070 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@analog-dreams I'm not gatekeeping anything. Just saying that Midjourney is like ebay. You type what you want and you get few results from which you can chose, which makes you a customer.
      Stable Diffusion on the other hand is open source, which means you have complete control over every aspect of generation, which also means you'll know how the image will look before it's generated. But it's very complex and not accessible for plebs.
      Why I say this? Because using Midjourney will get you nowhere. It's purely for fun.
      Stable Diffusion on the other hand is already used for archiviz, design, marketing, animation, vfx and the list goes on, and that's because it can be modified for specific needs.
