beautiful building and enjoyed the history too. Parents and I came to Penn Station when we took PRR to NYC, I remember coming up a escalator into a huge waiting room. When we left we took New York Central RR thru Grand Central Terminal and remember it more because we had to spend time there waiting for our train. My Dad worked for Frisco RR so we took trips all over the US on his free pass, all pre-Amtrak. He died in 1973 so he never go to ride any of their trains. Mom and I did, and I have been on a few LD trips and hope to be on many more. And congrats on 50 years, Amtrak
