Lobotomy Corporation is an indie horror strategy management simulation video game for Microsoft Windows developed and published by South Korean studio Project Moon in April 2018. The sequel, deck-building game Library of Ruina, was released for Windows and Xbox One in August 2021.[1] The third installment, dungeon role-playing game Limbus Company is in development.
The Player, who is referred as "X," is the manager of an underground power company called "Lobotomy Corporation" that harvests energy from strange beings known as "Abnormalities." They are tasked with overseeing the process and must command their employees to "work" on these Abnormalities in order to fill the daily "quota" of energy, but must also suppress them in order to place them back in their containment if they breach.
The meta of the game is divided between two different phases: preparation and management (the latter of which is the "meat" of the game). The preparation determines the management phase: in it, the player can hire new employees, boost existing employees' stats (Fortitude, Prudence, Temperance, and Justice), assign them to different departments, and equip them with E.G.O weapons and suits. The management phase consists of sending these employees to extract energy from Abnormalities. The success of this process can vary wildly depending on the circumstances of the work, as each Abnormality has its unique set of traits that determine how it will behave and what dangers it poses. What makes things challenging is that information about these traits isn't available from the get-go, and the player must discover them through trial and error by earning information points, which are gained through the aforementioned work process, and can be used to learn specific traits of the Abnormality, such as work preferences, breach behavior and (only if the player has collected enough information) weapons and armor.
Once enough energy is collected, the player can end the day and have their performance rated from S (the best) to F (the worst). This rating is influenced by how many employees survived the day, and is directly proportional to the reward the player will receive, which are "LOB" points, which the player can use to promote existing employees or hire new ones. A penalty is applied to the amount of "LOB" points received at the end of the day based on the danger levels of the Abnormalities that breached during the day. Should the player decide to continue, they will (usually) be forced to choose new Abnormalities out of a selection of three. The only information given about the selectable Abnormalities is their classification numbers and a small text meant to describe them in an intriguing yet mystifying way. Once an Abnormality is chosen, it is added with the rest and the preparation phase begins again. As each day passes, the game will select more difficult Abnormalities for the player to choose from. - เกม

Your channel might not be the biggest, but it's very comfy and has a cool community. Everyone is invested to the point they are willing to submit characters, make fan art and stories, or even provide advice while being considerate enough not to spoil anything (at least that I've seen). You picking up LobCorp was quite the match made in heaven, because the ProjectMoon community is also extremely dedicated and fairly niche to some degree. So it's quite fitting the way things came together and I look forward to more.

Amazing that Lob corp ended up being the 1000th video, it has been an amazing series. Especially the anbo story reading episodes are cool and different. Wonder if you could also include in an episode giving your thoughts on the different Sephira stories and the main story now that you know some of them fully, since your comments on them are interesting to me.
2:31:06 I really love this line since he's basically responsible for MemRepo(to that extension, why we can retry the day) , he's responsible for the hiring process of nuggets and the one who gives upgrades to unlocking the full potential of nuggets being their stats. Really goes to show why the Record team has the description that they have. Also, it gives me some thoughts aswell, when you said that Hokma said he wouldn't breakdown, I'm kinda inclined to believe that he didn't since he didn't breakdown emotionally(although it's still there) but that he just want's to stop you or that he's testing your resolve to move onward. But yaeh, congrats again on the 1k vid milestone and had a blast.

Congratulations! I don't wanna spoil you about Hokma's ability. Hokma's core suppression is one of the hardest core suppression in this game. I suggest that you should be more cautious while suppressing Hokma's core. Keep an eye on abnormalities that involve the time such as express train to hell.
It depends on your facility and whether you're willing to make sacrifices. Honestly, the gimmick isn't the source of difficulty. It's more like Tiph than Chesed.
The difficulty comes from not being able to control your facility easily, and the fact that it needs you to beat a midnight, not that bad if you know what youre doing (if you get green midnight even better since its less to manage)
Express is beneficial in this regard since its an easy full facility heal if you keep on the lookout for it, elevator becomes really important in the suppression in that aspect
We're getting so close to you seeing the final phase of this game, and to you starting Library of Ruina, I can't wait. Also, personally, I find camless TH-camrs a lot comfier and prefer to watch videos without facecams, however, I don't believe it would affect whether or not I decide to watch your videos. Also, tools are decided as the 4th abnormality of the week, meaning if you open two departments during a week, one of your abnormalities will be in a different department, making the tool the 3rd abnormality instead.
Also, I _think_ that you may be fine when it comes to completing Binah, however, you may need to do a Repository depending on what days you complete the missions on. If you happen to find yourself on day 45 with only one Binah mission left, you can go into the day and complete the mission, then, after clicking the day complete button that takes you to the daily report (and it says 'X mission complete' on the left side,) as long as you Memory Repository before continuing to the next day, the mission will be complete and you will be able to do her suppression on the next go of the week.

Then a perfect explanation of why it's not even important. (No one cares if you're good at your job the day you get it... you only need to be able to recognize the patterns eventually and well. IQ doesn't really help you understand it well...
heck it possibly hinders your understanding because you're decently efficient at first so you don't ask questions or develop skills. Then, as your peers slowly get ahead of you, you effectively fall behind into irrelevance.
My favorite suppression is finally here. The mechanic is... not subtle, to say the least, and I believe it's partially based on an abnormality that was in the _legacy_ version of the game, which you'll eventually get to see.
All I can say is, good luck. This is the ultimate test of managerial skill and ability to work under pressure.

Funnily enough, Binah goes before Hokma in the reverse order of the Sephirot, and thus why I like to do Binah before Hokma. And also because the Hokma CS cutscene is So Damn Cool. I'll be eager to see how you go with Hokma's CS.

Edit: Also, at the risk of being of those "aktsually" smartasses: one way to avoid doing a day 1 reset would be the "infinite abnormality extraction" mod which would allow you to reroll the abno choices until you get ones you haven't seen yet.

You do seem to be getting through this game a lot faster than I did- even considering all the editing down you're on great time! Which is funny on thought, because lolHokma, but hey, what can you do.
I would honestly recommend after dealing with Hokma and Binah that you do a day 1 reset. This sounds *terrible* I know and you're gonna have all those missing nuggets but honestly? Your facility is agonizing. + it gives you more chances to get the abnos you have left without worrying about the day limit you're on.

I'm very excited to see Crim get the Crimson Scar gift to complete the set. It's what I wanted as soon as I saw Red Riding Hood. Didn't expect Crim to get paired up with someone though but that has me more excited! Hope Crim and Natasha both grow into one of the elite employees of the company.
As for the life story, I personally enjoyed it. Always found it interesting to listen to other people's backstories. History in general is just interesting to me. Would love to hear more stories in your videos if you got more to share.
In regards to TH-cam Gaming being seen as a shameful job, I don't see why. It may not be as "productive to society" like being a mechanic or doctor. So what if it isn't. Perhaps it could be the pressure of our elders wanting us to do something great for ourselves and only see the options they had from when they were our age? Or perhaps it's something else? Don't know. People should just simply take pride in what they do. Doing let's plays and video editing teaches you some very valuable skills that can be stepping stones to something greater. A great example of that is Markiplier. Look at how much he's branched out from Lets Plays.

Yyyeah, you're supposed to give one of the departments two expansions before reaching day 41. You might still be able to do this, but whatever happens on the second suppression will be permanent, so, either do it perfectly or accept losses. Trust me, there will be some (and you might not have the abno to cheese one of them).
I'd recommend a mem rep before day 46 for abno codex, but that may not work out and will be tedious.
In any case, congratulations on getting this far as a channel. I believe not many accomplish this. Hell, wasn't it not all that long ago when you've merely reached 1K subs?

Honestly you had some really touching words here, I'm glad you enjoy making videos so much! I dunno how many abnos are left or how the endings are triggered but I'm rooting for you to not have a day 1 reset! Though if you do you'll be able to get all the birds and magic girls and stuff in one facility so that'll be fun. It's always nice looking forward to a new upload from you. I'm glad we are getting more unrelated talks its interesting hearing your insight. It's endearing hearing you have pride in what you do. You're right, a lot of youtubers kind of stray from presenting themselves with the title of "youtuber" or "lets play". I think its partially at the fault of a few bad apples setting a bad example for most of the mainstream. Though I think its entirely different if you're referring to Mark or any of the OG youtubers. For them its probably more about pursuing a new passion; to not be complacent and stagnate. When you hear them talk about their thoughts on their careers they have no regrets, but still want to continue experiencing new things. It kind of touches upon something you talk about later: If there's something you want to do, start doing it. I think for the OG youtubers they're in the position to do that, and they are slowly straying away from just making videos. They are doing things they've always wanted to, and hopefully are more fulfilled by doing so.

People correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you screwed up at 2:05:18 where you needed to expand Binah's department to be able to do both suppressions in one playthrough. You need a split of either 4-2 or 3-3 at day 41 when the game saves to the do one suppression and then memory repo and build up the other department and suppress the other core.
You're right. you need to fully expand the department to do the core suppression, but because he only has one of those at day 41, the final expansion is gonna be at day 45, after which he'd unlock the suppression to do at day 46. Unfortunately day 46 is a memory repository, and you can't do suppressions past day 45.
By having a 3-2 split at day 41, you'd unlock the first one to do at day 44, then go back to the repository and start expanding the other one, to end up unlocking it at day 45

I don't think you will get throught Hokma core suppression safely due to certain abnormality it not that it impossible to beat but you will probably have to *paying the price*

I usually watch people with over a million subs, so being grateful about receiving 1k subs takes me back to the old days of TH-cam when things were still small and new, like watching your favorite TH-camrs grow from 1mil subs to over 100mil who now lives in japan happily content with their lives, you root for them in their success and whatnot. You honestly deserve more, doing it for passion, playing what you like to play, doing things your way, feeling grateful about it all. If you get a thousand subs in this time period it's only a matter of time before you get a growth spike, and I'll be here proud to say "fuck you guys, I've been here since 1k subs" when you hit 100k. Really happy to have found a gem like you in my recommendations.

Grats on the 1000th video. Kinda fitting that it is from the series that likely gave you 1000 subscribers.
I think you should just not hire new employees, as you (as far as im aware) have to do a day 1 restart, and some would likely only be there for a video or two, since I'm pretty sure you have to finish a day with 5 department, before the suppression, and when you get to day 46 you won't be able to do core suppression to my knowledge, though I have not seen anyone who would need to, so I might be wrong. You also still have a couple of abnos you have yet to find.

They're blue-light glasses, they help prevent eye-strain from staring at monitors too much, I spend a lot of time at my desk!
Unfortunately, you did indeed 'fuck this up', as you put it. Because you only had 1 section of Extraction ready by the Day 41 repository, you can no longer go back there and complete the department and do its Suppression before you enter the Endgame Sequence (and you need all of the Suppressions done by then if you want to actually finish the game).
Regardless, congrats on the milestone!

Firstly, congrats on 1k videos! I love the lob corp stuff. You're getting to some particularly brutally tough parts of the game(though I will say the way you handled Gebura's suppression was really well done so maybe the rest will be easier than it was for me lol) and I look forward to that. I think you might need to day 1 reset if you want to get the true ending though. If you would rather not, there is a mod that lets you reroll for abnormalities infinitely which you might consider.
If you're interested in a bit of small criticism, read on : : : : : : : Small Criticism Incoming : : : : : : : If the webcam will be a regular feature going forward, it is way too big, IMO. Like very distractingly big. I would shrink it to at least 1/3rd the size, maybe even 1/4. It did impact my viewing experience for this episode in a negative way. Honestly by this point the game gets a lot less interesting in my opinion. You've seen most abnormalities, your agents are so strong you can handle most threats, you've done most missions, and the days get far longer.
Id say it's just the calm before the storm, considering the difficulty of the last two suppressions and everything that happens past day 46. Also, emphasis on " *most* threats." There's still some things that can absolutely wreck you if you're not careful

The IQ number is valuable to know in very few cases. Mostly mental-medical reasons.

But I dont think most people who comment to tell their youtuber what to do, do it to feel superior or important, or because they feel you wouldnt succeed in the game without them.
I think most of them comment those things because, in their mind they are playing along with you, and want to take part in it with you.
Thus they try to help, try to give tips, or just share their observation and theories.
A lot of them just are bad at doing that whithout sounding like a self centered, over self value, authority, douche.
