Mahi Mahi and Mackerel! Breaking In The New Kayak.

- The new kayak hits the water for it's first proper fishing trip since being all rigged up... and she didn't disappoint! Some nice fish came home to feed the family and build some good juju in the new boat. Looking forward to lots more trips out. Ill be moving the sounder back a little and changing the front camera mount to get get a nice clear view of the action for next time but apart from that the new kayak feels great!

@@marvincristiano4421 you should be able to just go to where you have to log in and then press forgot password. Then it should ask you to type in your email (the one you used to create your account), and once you have typed it in it will send you a verification code which you enter in, then you create a new password and you should be all sorted

Being an offshore kayaker, I checked...mine are manganese bronze. I love punching through the surf.

Thanks for another wicked vid Rod. How awesome and giving is the local fishing community your part of, that was good stuff. The new boat looks the goods and how great is it that you can stow everything away safe and dry for when you launch, that makes things much nicer and far less to worry about especially the sounder.

You would be surprised how often that’s what it looks like when the fish are on. You think your pulled up the only fish in the ocean through pure skill and the reality is there were so many fish down there at that moment that it would be crazy if you didn’t get one... but often still don’t! 😅

Mahi are awesome and will sometimes kick the crap out of you if you lose control of them once they are landed. Ive been slapped in the nuts so hard trying to get one that came off the gaff.
Don’t think my little 2 dollarfiddy dragon yak would make it past the first wave, love it mate.
