It's interesting that you find hard to find trousers being tall like a model, I am short and trousers are always made for tall people in my opinion. The beige bag is beautiful.
As a tall person, trousers are always made for average size I believe. I would say niether tall nor short. The advantage being if they are too long, you can get them altered to make them shorter. Taller people like myself don't have that option. Very lucky to get excess material to make them longer 😊
I have the same problem. In the past 2 years every, skirt, trouser, dress I bought I had to take in. Slowly companies are making clothes for tall people giving the option for less tall people to have them altered. This way they can expand their market.
Totally agree, I was going to comment that exact fact. I suppose if you are tall you notice what is NOT available for you, and when are not so tall (notice I did not say the SH word) you notice the trousers you can't get in your size. The only thing I can say about length of trousers - they can be taken up, but if you have long legs (lucky person that you are), you cannot extend the fabric, so it probably is worse for those who need longer length trousers, and even worse, how can you wear high heels if you can't get the length?? That would be a nightmare.
Hi Emma, I absolutely love that you/Simon directly put the brand, price, and sizing on the screen! Thanks!! I bought the navy COS trench and OMG it is beeaauutiful. I feel so elegant in it, especially with the length. Your style is perfect :)
Emma I would really enjoy a review on the cashmere quality of your jumpers. Especially HM? I loved some of their new colors for the season( crazy about taupe). You are the inspiration of every week girl!
Awesome - thanks for taking the time to show us your superb wardrobe for autumn. I agree with the high-street, chain store items, they are not finished off too well. The colours are lovely and you will get a lot of wear out of these items. I used to love Next when it was done by George, their items were really tailored and well finished, and worth the money (you may find this bizarre, but people used to queue outside next on Boxing Day, for the sale, you were allowed in, when someone came out- so only a limited amount of people allowed in store at a time). The other chain store I loved a long time ago was Wallis, when it did awesome coats. I bought a bronze coat that is very like your Khaki trench coat, it was also long. Unfortunately, the designers that first started with Wallis is long gone, and that quality plummeted too. (of course I am speaking about 20 - 30 years ago). I am old!!
Love the trousers. It’s so hard to find nice trousers that aren’t polyester, which I hate. The standard suiting items I bought in the 80s and 90s were always 100% wool gabardine, lined with rayon or even silk. They were lovely, it’s so hard to find that quality nowadays.
Hi Emma, Hope you're sitting cozy with tea and surrounded by little fur fellas! Love what you do and thank you so much! I'm late 50's - how the heck did that happen? Anyways, been watching you for quite some time. The minimal, smart, modern, classic approach to style is so timeless and ageless etc. I personally feel that when watching many of the gals my age, many times they are missing the style mark for me with too many trends, patterns and excess. So thank you, thank you! As a full time busy realtor, what I need are trousers (no wool please-itchy) to wear with trainers, and styling ideas for Hunter boots. Having shared here about style excess, guess which dramatic Hunter boots I have? The black glossy quilted high ones! They are fabulous. They are so functional and beautiful-getting me through grass, mud, rain, ice and snow with style. I'm in Idaho and being a realtor is not a glamorous life at all, but rather like going to grandmas house - "over the river and through the woods" haha! I wear black jeans a lot, solid colored blazers a lot, my cross body coach bag-I gotta be ready for anything out there! Thank you again!!!!
Thank you Christine ❤️ We visited Idaho very briefly (Shoshone Falls & Twin Falls in the south) a few years back and loved what we saw, so want to spend some more time there some time in the future.
You pronounce 'Polène' correctly since there is a grave accent. The content of your videos is always excellent and incomparable Emma💎 Thank you and cheers from France🇫🇷
Fantastique! Polene - you pronounced correctly, like Pol-enn and the number Dix is French for 10 and is pronounced Dees, bravo! Great video thanks Emma, so much inspiration as always!
Great content Emma as always, looking forward everything up and coming. I must say that ever since you spoke about M&S cashmere it’s been my go to, great quality and price! Enjoy the rest of your weekend😊
Hi Emma - I love the cream sweater!💕 The interwoven designs on it are beautiful and make it stand out as something special. And as I'm your height I always look forward to your nods towards the longer length trousers and coats. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. x
Emma, navy AND black old Celine - what magic is this?❤️. Loving the navy trench and those trousers are perfect! Cashmere and a beige crossbody - this video is calling my name! Can’t wait for the new home tour. Have a great Sunday 🥰🇨🇦.
This seems like this bag was made for you ! I know your very busy but wondering if you might consider making a video regarding all the wonderful satiability indicators or certifications you refer to. I m very much like you in that it’s hugely important for me when making a purchase. Thank you 🙏 and cheers 🥂!
Good morning Emma from Montreal. OH that Celine bag is so gorgeous! Love the mix with black and navy. Thank you for the video. Always looking forward to Sunday morning. Can’t wait too see the trench coat and new house videos. Have a great day.
Emma, the LouLou Studios jumper is just beautiful. It is a classic piece. The price is a little high for my budget but it was lovely to see it styled by you. Great video with lots of your personality as always. Best of luck with the move.
Love the cream arran jumper. Last year I bought a hand-knitted light beige arran jumper from a charity shop for £6. It feels like all wool, though obviously there’s no label. It looks totally unused so I’m thrilled. I’m waiting for colder weather to wear it. I think it’d look great with navy trousers like yours.
Oh that TRENCH! What gorgeous quality and details for the price! Of course it was soldout when I clicked your link ( but I may be able to find something similar here in Canada). You are so inspiring! Can't wait to see your " 5 Ways to Wear ..." series! xoxo
Love your style and I don't feel guilty to try to match some outfits with ' second hand grand ' items . Just in the process of changing over my wardrobe and if there is anything I haven't really worn this summer it will go on ebay , where I've been looking for looser items ready for when I have my Picc line fitted before chemo . x
Well, I love all these items, Emma! Looking forward to the ‘How to wear’ video for that gorgeous navy trench coat. Loved seeing the little doggo head, thank you, Simon! 😉 As I said on IG, wishing you all a (mainly) happy move!
I am French and follow you from Paris. I can tell you your prononciation of Polene is perfect😏. Thank you for your style I weekly expect you videos with a lot of interest.
I am happy the Hunter Boots work for you. I bought a pair of the snow boots and because I have 15 inch calves they barely fit on bare skin. I would not be able to wear jeans under them (I was a long, triple and high jumper in school so my calves are a bit bigger). I have this issue with many tall boots. Needless to say I was unhappy with that purchase and had to return them but did replace them with a nice pair of Sorel snow boots. I will most likely purchase a pair of the short rain Hunter boots as I will not have an issue with those. Also I love your hair.
Lydia and josie went to the exchange store and showed us all the stuff in there and how it work, you all seem to be heading there to shop, must be a great place,
It is great for second hand goods, especially if you prefer to see something in real life as you can go to the store and take a look before buying, although obviously not every store has the same items 👍
Loving your blogs Emma but can you tell me what is the breed of your dogs , I have not long ago lost my dachshund and am thinking of which breed to get as I am old I don’t want another dachshund as he hurt his back enough said , love seeing your dogs 😊❤️
Hello Emma, thank you for making lovely videos. Really enjoy them every week. Sadly both Cos trenches are out of stock. Are they recent purchases just wondering incase they come back in. Thanks again for all your hard work.
They are both from the end of July (beginning of Aug maybe) but as they are AW items they may well come back in stock. So I would say just keep your eyes peeled on the website 👍
😘👌🏼 all of the items! All items can be worn together. I was thinking about "you know what color would be amazing on you" moment ! Yes i said color COLOR C O L O R COLOR 🙄 Bc you wear navy & dark navy and in spring summer yellow (mustard) but green the dark green kaki , mos, dark forest green,. Those kind of greens bc with gray & black its 😘👌🏼 its still muted enough or& dark enough to feel "colorfree" of that makes sens?
The navy trench is my fav! Awesome! Would you still recommend M&S Cashmere jumper? Have loungewear set here and still not sure if I will keep it or send it back. But I remember that you always loved your basic jumpers from M&S... Thanks and best regards!
Hi, a new subscriber here :) Love your style, very scandinavian (which I like as I’m from Oslo)! As you were talking about cashmere, I highly recommend trying Kashmina which is a Norwegian brand and they have the softest softest non itchy cashmere clothing :) Look forward to seeing more of your content!
Wow those trousers are lovely! I own one Polène bag (which you pronounced correctly) and it looks brand new despite being two years old. Numéro dix (the x is pronounced like an 's') is beautiful but I currently have my eye on their Cabas bag to wear to work. Have a lovely Sunday
The Loulou trousers really fit like a classic pleated pant which is not easy to find. That elegant Katherine Hepburn look is Gold. The Polene bag is gorgeous. Is it one of those that patinas over time? I have a full length (to my heels) black trench coat with belt very plain, slantwd pockets , no bells and whisles that I don't know how to wear. So I am looking forward to your video.
Love your style! Laughing with Simons comments about NB sneakers...My husband has a pair of NBs and I was making fun of him too! Now how am I going to secretly add them in my shoe case???
Thanks for the upload🥰. I am a huge New balance fan😄. They are the most comfortable trainer out there. And they are very affordable in my opinion. I dont have the 550s but i do have a couple of 574, and one pair of 990🤗
Emma I love love your style, there are times I dip in and view some foreign blogger there you are inserts of you looking great a few of our English speaking boggers also use inserts of you, just love the quality of your purchases.
I did try it when I got my puzzle but just wasn’t a fan of it. I found it a bit awkward and didn’t really like the way it hung, but it will obviously be different for everyone 👍🏼

The navy cashmere doesn’t look high-quality. It has cut and stitched shoulder seams, not fully-fashioned (knitted-in) ones. Those cheaply-made seams tend to quickly get holes on them.
Love this as always! The Céline bag is so perfect, going to have to get back to Bicester again soon! Any chance of a What I Wore in a Week soon? Always my favourites! PS, the style of the bag is pronounced numero “deece” 🙂
I have a question for all of you in the UK- I just bought a bag from a brand called Reiss, and realized they are based in England. Can you tell me about the brand? High street? Better quality? I know brands are marketed so differently in different countries. Thanks!
I bought the cream jumper because of you, it’s beautiful but here in Siclly. we are still laying by the pool/on the beach with our almost 30 degree weather. I had eyed che cos cotton trench in mustard but a bad review of Cos as a brand convinced me not to buy it and now I think I regret my decision 🤔.
Love the Hunter boots! My feet are best described as pain the butt - long, narrow, with even a narrow heel. I’m 5’5 and wear a 10. 😂 anyhoo, I live where it’s hot and rains (Houston, yes unfortunately that would be Texas)…like all the damn time. Hunter in the heat make my feet crazy hot but I may have to get these!! I know totally diff price point but I have one pair of Dubarry Glenmire and Aquatalia. They’ve been my gotos. Thanks Emma for opening my eyes to new boots🤣. Haven’t even made it through video! ❤️

Did you buy your normal size, size-up, size down? Thank you, I love it too!
Almost 3 years after and pretty much still up to date ! That’s how you know it’s great content 😊
The Celine bag is drop-dead gorgeous! Well done! Thank you, Emma, for re-igniting my love of Converse. They just look so classically cool.
Emma I would really enjoy a review on the cashmere quality of your jumpers. Especially HM? I loved some of their new colors for the season( crazy about taupe). You are the inspiration of every week girl!
Thanks a lot Emma, I've been looking for a cable knit jumper for years and thanks to you I just bought the Mango one !
When I was a teenager in the late 90's it was a big No No to match navy and black. But today I do.

Another fabulous video! Loved all of the new items, and looking forward to that five ways to wear the trench coat video!!
I love that your Polene totally matched the cute little doggie ears at the bottom of the picture! Just too cute! Lol!
I like new balance because it is the only sneaker that suits my feet and comes in large half sizes. And the designs are not bulky.
Love the white sweater you're wearing at the 8:00 mark, are you wearing the white sweater over the tan sweater?
The Celine Edge bag is the bomb!

Hey Emma, what Arket jeans do you typically get? The straight cropped or the regular cropped? Just an American trying to be more chic. Thanks!
They are actually just regular but unfortunately they don't do them anymore 😞
I am happy the Hunter Boots work for you. I bought a pair of the snow boots and because I have 15 inch calves they barely fit on bare skin. Hi Emma, will you do a review for the Celine edge bag?
Lydia and josie went to the exchange store and showed us all the stuff in there and how it work, you all seem to be heading there to shop, must be a great place,

I have a question for all of you in the UK- I just bought a bag from a brand called Reiss, and realized they are based in England. Can you tell me about the brand? High street? Better quality? I know brands are marketed so differently in different countries. Thanks!
They are high end high street known mainly for doing great tailoring and workwear. Normally really good quality
Thank you!
Good luck with the move Emma!
Thank you ❤️
Love the Hunter boots! ❤️
