      Thanks, we are glad that you like it. Just so you know this is in all Tsunami2 decoders not just the new 8 function models.

      The NCE cab? The reason we just tell you which CVs to change is because the series of button pushes is different on all DCC systems.

    Momentum has been set on my decoder. Should I change the momentum back to "0", set the DDE, and reset the momentum to my previous value?

      It is not necessary, but when you do the actual calibration, you want to be sure your model is running at the commanded speed step, or the mismatch could cause an erroneous read. So, we usually recommend this set to 0 so that your loco can not only be running at speed quickly, but also be stopped immediately following the calibration, but again, if space is not an issue, then it will not make much of a difference. Just make sure that you are running at SS20 or 30 when you calibrate and not still accelerating.

    Is it possible to do this programming on a digitrax DCS52? And would I input the “2.512” CV as CV 522 when programming?

      You can program with the DCS52. You can watch our indexed CVs video for a further explanation on 2.512: th-cam.com/video/nv2XFr60zwg/w-d-xo.html

    Q: JMRI Decoder Pro - Programming on the main - CV tab. No CV31 or 32 is available. How do we set base power, or CV32 to value of 2?

    • @SoundtraxxDCC
      @SoundtraxxDCC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There should be a way to enter individual CVs and their values with JMRI. We do not support JMRI so we can't tell you how to use it, but you can always use your command station to perform this step.

      @@SoundtraxxDCCthis explains why I have issues programming the DDe sensitivity on my clubs layout. They use jmri to handle the layout’s signals and wifi throttles. I wonder if I use the Digitrax throttle I have to adjust things on the main.

    Have to say your decoders are easy to understand and work with.The preloaded features are a smarter and a more customer friendly way to go,'my opinion',as opposed to having to to load sound files,which I guess you are stuck with.Your decoders are,to me,more flexible,and easily adjusted.This is not a sales pitch,it is a message to the novice,that Soundtraxx Decoders,will make your Digital Train life easier.Not to mention all the features.When something is this good,then it should be noted.Happy Training.
