Both Green & Ness are great dancers. When it's Green there's always excitement, to see what new stuff he creates freestylin to the music. Mr Wiggles voting for him twice itself is a win. His vote carries a lot more weight than Popping J & other judges
Not necessarily true. I love Wigs -- but he's going to vote for the dancer that can incorporate the most "tricks" into their set -- and Green does it as good as Wiggles used to do. He saw himself in Green and voted for him. And there's nothing wrong with that, but you cannot say that outweighs the other votes. To each -- their own. I wasn't even a fan of Ness, but his first round was HARD. Green knows that, because he came out all tilted like he was fumbling to recover his loss even though the first round just began. Green should have done what he always does to win -- outdance his opponent. In this case, he felt the raw intimidation from Ness and sought to overpower him with "power moves" pulled out from a hat instead. It's not a bad approach, but you can't expect to win high caliber battles with it. Not all judges side that way. If it was more dancing and less emphasis on "tricks," I would have voted for Green -- only because Ness loss his steam from the first round, he never came back as strong.

Interesting..... Looks like Greenteck studied Wigs old VHS tapes on ground moves pretty dang well, which you can tell Wigs was happy with. Ness looked good overall, solid hits, movements, levels, etc, but seemed to let the beef between them get to his dancing a bit. Greenteck killed it like usual, but he also seemed as if he was a bit frustrated by Ness and the judges at the at end.... Overall Greenteck took this one hands down. Ness has good musicality. But for me there's three things that make him underwhelming. First is that you can't pinpoint anything in his dance that makes him unique. Most top level poppers evolve through the years to have their own sort of swag with the dance. It's like he learnt boogaloo foundation and then never developed his own flavour with it. Secondly he really needs to open up more with his rolls. His hips seem really stiff and anytime he changes levels from anything other than upright it starts looking sloppy. Is it possible than internet can respect dance, and hip hop culture ? A lot of comment just says "wrong judge", "shame on judge" without one argue. Ofcourse all of you are dancer since 10 years, 20 years and you are also judge... That's your judgment that is a shame. Respect even if you don't understand... Peace
I was just going to say something about Ness being stiff. He always looks stiff and everything looks forced. You can see him literally thinking about what’s coming next imo. I’m not a fan of that style.
At the very end, you can hear Ness saying to Greenteck "I already told you, and I'll tell you again, stop saying the names on the internet. We go here now, I'll fuck your grandma and it's done (French expression to say I'll kick your ass). Many people in here are mad at Ness. Greenteck's fan mostly. They don't understand how Ness could win this battle. He was "scholar", not impressive, "boring"... But you guys need to understand that the era of creativity is done. You can't win a popping battle anymore by bringing bboy moves. This is why you don't see Salah winning anymore. You need to be consistent. To pop to the beat (drums, Charleston, high snares), add texture to your pop, put power in your hits, and stick to the original styles. And sometimes, greenteck isn't (You can see Ness pointing this out at 1:32). If you're not popping, you're losing. You need to pop to the boom, clap, boom, clap, boom, clap. If you want, you can pop or do moves to other things, but you have to stick to the boom, clap, boom, clap during those times (and this is called musicality). People like hoan or Poppin C have amazing musicalities because they can isolate tiny elements in the music by sticking to this boom clap. Sometimes, Greenteck isn't. How can you pop on the beat if you're doing a flip during a battle? How can you bring an original popping style if you're doing bboying? It's OK to do it a bit, to be offbeat from time to time. But this time, Greenteck was facing Ness. He's one of the most consistent in the game. If you're not 100% against him, you will loose. Greenteck didn't bring the best out of him, and I think it's normal for him he lost this battle. I'm No-one to judge these two amazing dancers. But we should be happy Ness could bring greenteck to his limit. Greenteck will adapt and be even stronger (he has the potential, he's the best in the game, by far. And I aint even a fan of his style. But clearly, he's the best popper in the world). Next time, greenteck won't dance to show off his style and create. He will dance to win. He will pop because at the end, it's a popping competition. Creativity should stop where popping starts. You should only pop. You're not there to show how creative you are. You are there to show your popping skills. Matter of fact, in term of popping purely, today, Ness was better. He deserved the win. And if Greenteck doesn't dance in a more serious way, he will lose again next time he will face Ness. You can't do whatever you want during a popping battle. You're not in a freestyle battle. You're supposed to pop. Many people don't understand how battles are judged. This is the real issue. If they knew, they would understand why Ness took that battle. Yes, Wiggles gave it to Greenteck because he knows the street culture. He knows everything about hip hop. The bboying, the battle aspect, the whole thing. But to be honest, this aspect is no longer accurate. Yes you have to face your opponent, to bring energy, because it's a battle, but they ain't in the street. They are famous dancers who get invited to China to dance and not pass the first preselections, and to be judged by judges who got paid to take a plane and judge. And when this whole battle is done, everyone will give workshop dance classes and get paid. How is this the street? Greenteck might be one of the most genuine dancer when it comes to this, but it's non relevant anymore. Not during an international battle. I've seen local battles (actually Ness was battling that day) where at the end, it would end up in a fight. You know who the judges gave it to? To the "peaceful" dancers. This street thing is non relevant anymore. When greenteck is too much "street", he gets canceled. It happened so many times (his battle with Reina, Wizzard, when he judged les twins and got slapped, Bruce ykanji in cercle underground...). You ain't in the street, and if you act like you're in the street, you get canceled and No-one will invite you anymore. To act like you're in the street shouldn't be a criteria to judge in popping battle. It brings a lot to the culture indeed. And without it, we would loose the core of the street dance. But it should not happen in a big show battle. It should stay in the street. I'm on of those that think only your dance, your musicality, your technic, and how you face your opponent should be judged. Nothing more. If you really wanna be street, put some cardboard on the floor, make a Cypher and put music when the event is done. It's a popping battle. They are judging poppers, not how street you are. Props to them tho, props to popping, props to the dance, respect to these amazing dancers. Keep the funk alive.
Scripter, Ness never follow the Boom Clap bass dab. Watch his move again! There are many poppers who can beat him on Pop Style followed to the beats, but the Judges eye are enough to see that ?. GreenTek ! He's great at all the time right now, How many style that He applied into one round from his beginning. I don't care for what you're saying about show this show that, forget them, I care for my point of view, the greatest poppers all the time right now! No one can applied EB + Pop style + G-style + Strutter + Animation + Clinking + Funk + Breakdance in one round, check again then tell me right or wrong! Forget about Pop style is just Pop ! Focus on creativity and level of performance. If you're insisting on your point, battle with me !
You did a lot of typing for someone completely full of it. The era of creativity is over? Really? And what Greenteck is doing at around 5:25 is popping in it’s truest form. That’s what it looks like fyi. You think that karaoke style that you’re obviously in love with is the truth? Go write another 5000 word essay about nothing. I can’t even read all that…
"Yes, Wiggles gave it to Greenteck because he knows the street culture. He knows everything about hip hop. The bboying, the battle aspect, the whole thing. But to be honest, this aspect is no longer accurate." The core aspects of the dance culture will ALWAYS be "accurate". Your interpretation of "street" is weird and shows you aren't from any of the neighborhoods where these dances originated from. Greentek wasn't being "street" when he did all of those things you mentioned, he was being disrespectful. Learn the difference. If the international scene is moving AWAY from the original street culture then you all are wrong, it's not the other way around. Mr. Wigglez viewpoint carries WAYYYYY more weight than ANYONE from overseas
not one crowed response for ness and he wins because the judges dont like greenteck. I dont even bother watching the "judging" anymore its just bullshit
Of course Green won this! Absoutely brilliant! Ness has dope moves and many sloppy ones (at least they look so), but he is lucky. He won @Who's the poppin king" because Green was sick in the finals. Though all Green's rounds in that event were masterpieces. Then Ness won the recent event when Green was also sick (though Green danced better), and now he wins this one for some unknown reason.
His skills are certainly advanced, but his mind remains childish. Integrity and respect are like long-term investments. He ended up this way because he didn't make the necessary investment in himself. Judges don't just judge skill; it's commonplace in any sport to penalize athletes who violate respect and are likely to harm their opponents.
😂 those 2 judges are clowns, even Wiggles have to stand up for that bs, if you still think it's about win or lose you just new to this game, everybody see the truth from each dancer rounds, Green left him with no crumbs everytime they faced. Green took that for me. Though it wasn't straight murder or anything like that. Ive seen alot better from both.
Greenteck! 🏆🥇
Bahaha Greenteck qui se prend un p'tit coup de pression à la fin
green1💯
😂😂😂 never seen a battle like this ! The judges is a problem. And also represent their level under those two dancer. So embarrassing.
Peace
greenteck🎉
Grenteeck innovation Win !!
is hard to accept but yes sometimes u have to BRING respect to win the WIN
Well, this come from the streets and not from royalty.
那兩個中國評審不敢評就別當了
丟人現眼,硬要評根本超級不妥
Wigz knows
Pa pa pa pa 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Ness calling out Greenteck on musicality baffles me
3:26 omg teck is insane 😭
Tje fact Ness was trying to do moves n combos Green was doing in 2010 should automatically been an L for Ness😅
First song?
Did you find it please ?
What happened there, the judges did not know that they had to choose one?
everyone knows that Greenteck is the best of the best, that was a steal Greenteck and best for me was the winner for me he was the champion
I like how green standing too close to the judge he is like “ i dare u choose em i will knock u the f out “ lol
Judges need to stop putting up TIES and do the job they are paid for 🤦🏻♂️
Choosing a draw on its own as a judge is a joke… but on a tie breaker!? Pffft don’t hire those guys again 👋🏻
Greenteck lejos 💣💣💣
PoppinJ, U can't judge that. Wiggles is a real OG. Cuz Green's winner.
they always end up going against each other
Ness!!! I agree with the decision. More popping less tricks
Song round 2 pls 😊
Greenteck is being treated so unfairly only because of his controversial past. If I was him I’d be so mad
This was NEVER EVER a tie…. Greenteck won for sure.
Sometime it looks a bit messy because he created own style own swings.... and a few are at the same fast speed mode....
green took this one due to the creativity of steps and musicality too, but what a great battle; However, it seems that the judges wanted to see more
Green took that
Ness is a stiff version of greenteck I call him stiffteck
rofl amen
I was just going to say something about Ness being stiff. He always looks stiff and everything looks forced. You can see him literally thinking about what’s coming next imo. I’m not a fan of that style.
Waaaa Greenteck I’m sorry my man
Green's preselection masterpiece: th-cam.com/video/LETfS969Xlw/w-d-xo.html
But to be honest, this aspect is no longer accurate."
The core aspects of the dance culture will ALWAYS be "accurate".
@@citrineautomations 100% this (how tf you gonna "keep funk alive" w/out roots in the street?(smh))
not one crowed response for ness and he wins because the judges dont like greenteck. I dont even bother watching the "judging" anymore its just bullshit

Green is winner
Of course Green won this! Absoutely brilliant! Ness has dope moves and many sloppy ones (at least they look so), but he is lucky. He won @Who's the poppin king" because Green was sick in the finals. Though all Green's rounds in that event were masterpieces. Then Ness won the recent event when Green was also sick (though Green danced better), and now he wins this one for some unknown reason.
Those 2 judges at the end should never be hired. Two ties after a whoopin from green, horrible judging.
It's nothing but karma lol
Lol 😮 ❤ send me title of music please all greentek
Don’t trip Greenteck. 2020s can’t handle or have the capability to understand your rooted and strong attitude/style.
greenteck wins for me
His skills are certainly advanced, but his mind remains childish.
This is a culture, not a Olympic or any kind of sport so don't twist it

Go ahead and keep it up, and I pray to God that your life will not be so pathetic.🙏
