Love it! Also the Lifesteal in this game is kind of weird. Every 1% gives you a 1% chance to gain 1HP when you attack. So unless youre using things like SMGs or more fast attacking weapons lifestealing is kind of lacking sadly.
I assumed it was % of damage done when I first started playing and was confused when I kept dying
So at 144 HP even 10% regeneration you would get 14 HP every 5 seconds guaranteed at least

i used to do only the scepter build and i got up to 500+ health since i got a lot of scepter early on and the game glitched out and just stopped healing me above 500. i also got to the max 50% regen so i just tanked every thing. the scepter deals surprisingly high amount of damage

Lifesteal also have hidden cooldown, it can only trigger 1 every 0.1s, so 10HP/s is the limit.

Hey Intern, what about trying an Engineering run. With Engineering, you can receive turrets that can shoot blasts, Fire, and can heal you. They would shoot at the nearest enemy by them, but it would help give you some breathing room. Plus, the weapons can be a wrench, which can give you a free turret, or a screwdriver, that will spawn mines around the field. You can even detonate the mines by walking over them, which won't hurt you but will hurt the enemy. With this build, you can end up with a free turret, and even more turrets to help protect you, plus still have weapons to attack with.

just build lots of speed to avoid enemies. i finished whit ghost on my first run. i was starting whit ghost axe for dmg scaling nobody can hurt you if they are dead nad whit 30-50 speed you can dodge the boss attacks pretty good

HP Regen with a mix of dodge and max HP or just max HP regen with armor and HP. Both tend to lead you to victory, almost no matter if you are clearing the enemies or not. I ended up going to Danger 5 and left it off there. Harvesting is fun to play with though luck was just not going my way.

Your priority on items makes your progress slow. A similar run with a minmaxing player that stacks +% enemies can easily reach 300hp, damage and attack speed ^^
