    Thank you for this demonstration. It was very helpful and it's wonderful how easy you make it look. I can tell you have many years of experience, which is why you make it look so effortless. Your work is quite beautiful.
    Would you please be willing to share where you got the silicone mold? You mentioned Amazon, but I've not been able to find anything even remotely like it there. The ones I've found are very thick and deep, unlike the one you have. Many thanks in advance!

    You’re in Michigan!?! I’d love to come purchase some pottery from you! Are you near metro-Detroit? I fell in love with clay my senior year of high school and since then it’s basically all I think about. With school, work, and family issues it’s been nearly impossible to have clay time (or even be able to get to my tools). Watching videos like yours keeps me sane, very thankful to be able to watch your artistry. You are inspirational

  • @allieperson7722
    @allieperson7722 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Really appreciate this tutorial! Couple of questions. What surface are you working on? About the cutting template - it looks like the length (therefore the mug circumference) it is based on the repeat of the texture template. So the cut edges are in the middle of a repeat. Make sense?

    • @Curlyrana81
      @Curlyrana81  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I had a carpenter build me a table and I placed a hardiebacker cement board on top. It’s great for wedging, recycling and handbuilding. 😂 The template worked out perfect for this mug. The height was what I use for my 12 oz. mugs. The length (circumference) need to be short since my mugs are only 11 inch around
