- Today I talk about all the Guerlain fragrances that are in my collection and also the ones I used to own. Fragrances mentioned in order:
L'Instant de Guerlain EdT, Vetiver, Heritage, Homme Intense (discontinued), Herba Fresca, Limon Verde, Cuir Beluga, Bois d'Armenie, Myrrhe & Delires (discontinued), Spiritueuse Double Vanille, Tonka Imperiale, Mitsouko EdP, Gourmand Coquin, Mon Precieux Nectar, Derby & Arsene Lupin Dandy (discontinued). Oh damn I had a bottle but forgot to mention it! I know you’re a big fan of Habit Rouge.
I always say that "with a Guerlain you can never go wrong" and I believe it, I have never smelt something from Guerlain that smelt cheap. Always high quality! Even if you don't always like the character of a perfume, in time it will grow on you. I love L'instant de Guerlain pour homme, especially the EDT version! I tried Songe d'un Bois d'Ete Guerlain and at first I though that the smell is too animalic, now I believe it's one of the most unique perfume ever made. It's not a coincidence that Guerlain house is probably the best in the world, if not, one of the best. Cheers!

I wear L'Instant EDT and EDP together...each one complements the other. 😄Neither one really lasts very long on me, however. I think my favorite of the cheaper ones marketed to men is Guerlain Homme EDP...the mint and lime notes are just so fresh and delicious. I'd love to smell Mon Precieux Nectar one day. Great review!

As we say here.. Rajah -dat ! (got my ☕️)..."over the years and multiple bottles, you get to know a fragrance"..u damn right, only then can you really speak on a perfume..re: Vetiver...slightly oily smell...You be hitting multiple nails on da heads! .Cuir Beluga, I think I might love that one..Superb discussion.

Nice collection its better than mine! I have tested a many but my current collection is Guerlain Homme EDP, l'homme ideal Colonge and L'instant EDP . I would not mind testing Lui, Bois D'Armenie and the classic L'Heure Bleue EDP and Extract.

My favourite house - cuir beluga is a classic, chamade homme, and iris torriffe are my favs, my gf loves floral romantique - might get her the gourmand from that collection at some point
What are your thoughts on the new Iris Torrefie? Do you get much coffee?
Not much coffee or tea and the vanilla is subtle. Its similar to dior homme but more refined it’s mainly suede/leather and iris to me, it’s not ground breaking but solid/well blended. The more I wear it the more I like it, has a different DNA to the others in this line
@@TheScentientMan maybe one of the reasons I like iris torriffe it is the atomiser, the old bulb attomisers were terrible as I said. I sold bois d’Armenie 12 months ago and regret it now, your video added to my sellers remorse.

I agree with your points on l'instant , I have the EDP which has depth but lacks freshness and if I wore the EDT it would lack the depth, so why not get the best of both worlds by layering both of them? I think I will give that a go.

Not a fan of the Ideal line then?
I still need to try extreme and intense before I decide but I really like the edp and would definitely buy it. The original and cologne are ok but it seems I’m in the minority with that view.

The original EDT and the Extreme are my two faves from the Ideal line
@@JmeJ83 I recently got a decant of Extreme. Very nice! Reminds me in some ways of Tonka Imperiale.

The Extreme is my favourite, closely followed by the EDT. I didn't get along with the EDP, it was too feminine on my skin. I do think the Ideal line is a great line and one worthy of praise. Definitely underrated imo.
