used canon m50 still the beast in the game when you want really good 1080/60 videos and really good APS-C photos for a low price in a small body with the widest lens variety ever
I am still using my canon SL1! Got it at a clearance sale of Black's photography when they closed in 2015. I considered an SL3 as an upgrade but think I want to move into mirrorless instead. My phone now covers a majority oif my everyday street photography. So far, I just can't seem to justify spending more money on a camera given how good phones are and how easy it is to finance them. I have a 70-200 lens that I got at the same time. I might look at a macro or wide angle eventually. The R10 is on my Radar but changing ot R-series lenses is an issue and Canon's move to destroy third party lens makers is still a concern.
I really want to buy my first camera I’ve been waiting for over a year!!! I know the basics I’ve seen TH-cam videos explaining them. So I want your recommendation on a mirrorless camera that is Canon or Sony that is between beginner and professional level and not too expensive
In my opinion best value for money has to be a refurbished canon rp its on sale commonly for 599 and is a full frame 26.2 mp mirroless camera with daul pixel auto focus touch screen and great low light ability and can do 1080 video which is good but not the best
awesome vid! i live in Perth and have found some good (from what i can tell) second hand 6d canons in my area. is this a bad idea(as far as usability and functionality go) for a beginner?
Nice video but it's really funny that you first recommended a $150-$300 camera, and then said that if you have "a little bit more cash to splash, you can buy" a $900 camera.
is that true that DLSR lasts longer than mirrorless, im confused for what should i go for...a mirrorless or a dslr. im looking for a cam that can last like 4-5yrs without any issues for like travel photography(hope i'll get a reply)
I want help bro….i already have iPad 10 that record 4K 60fps video but I want to take a camera bcoz we can’t take the iPad in public and record something…so what’s ur opinion?
4K/60FPS on iPad is not even comparable to iPhones, not even talking about how a 1080p image on a real camera would blow the iPhone or iPads 4K to the moon. But honestly, don't invest in something below 4K/30. The Canon R100 would be fine, but it doesn't support 4K autofocus, so get a R50 for the most portability and good downsampled 4K from 6K
Hi, thanks for the video, it really helped me! I am thinking about getting a 200d or 700d. The price diffenrence is not that big. What are your thoughts on that?
Im new to photography and started on a t7 and replaced it with the RP. Refurbished from canon you can get it on sale for 599 USD and at that price i dont think you can best it tbh as the dual pixel auto focus and eye detect, full frame and ive used it up to 5000 iso for great photos dont think you can beat it if you can get it refurbished on sale but i know the sale comes and goes
I know I'm late but I have that camera and I love it. I would definitely recommend it! Though I would like a flip screen, the camera gets the job done:)
What about the canon r7? I want a good hybrid camera that can take good cinematic travel videos on a budget but the r8 doesn’t have IBIS if I’m not mistaken vs the r7 having it. Would love your thoughts on a mid/low price ranged hybrid camera for cinematics like your ig reels content! I suppose the r10 is a good option again no IBIS in it which makes cinematics tougher to edit. I have the canon sl2 / 200D (not good video quality) with the ef-s 17-55 f2.8 (with crop factor it’s more like a 27-88mm) and ideally i would like to not have to buy a new lens with an ef adapter! Let me know your thoughts, cheers.
IBIS isn't make or break when your lenses have stabiliasation but it can help for sure. with the r7 you are limited to the cropped sensor and I feel like if you're spending that sort of money a full frame sensor is where it's at!
@@Watzac are there any cameras you use for your cinematic reels that don’t have IBIS & shot handheld? I just don’t like ugly shakey footage hahah like my SL2
You will never get the most stable footage with handheld filming, get a gimbal. The R7 vs R8 debate is a question of do you want the best quality or just fancy features@@jackjon777
me to man i recently upgraded to the canon rp because i found my refurbished t7 struggled to properly focus occasionally and was terrible in low light if you ever wanna upgrade id recommend the rp refurbished from canon its 599 but the t7 is a great camera for the value

currently having Canon EOS R10 + Rf 50mm f/1.8 and the only thing it lack is IBIS apart from this its a good choice.
Can you tell me more about it? I'm kinda into buying the R10+50mm and I'm confused.

@@towned oh good I'll look a mirrorless then
Retired and not concerned about video. Any recommendations on a camera for both landscape and street photography that isn’t clunky and heavy
the canon m50 mark 1 or 2 they are quite the same

Will you be doing a similar video on other brands?
Can you make a video about foucal lenght and why is i important a wich lens to use for portrait mode @Zack Watston
For portraits just got a 50mm f1.8, lower the aperture (which is f1.8) with this lens, the better the portraits
When you say portrait mode, are you talking about iPhone?
@@Watzac No, i am talkingg about foto camera :)
Looking to get a video for content creation, more video and part photography, a video on this as well please?
R10 is a good camera
I have Budget 600 should i buy canon 2000d ? With 50mm f/1.8
Got the same budget and after some research I’m going for it, we’ll see how it goes

Don’t forget the 6D won’t accept the cheaper EF-S lenses that the 600/700D can use.
I'm going for the canon 4000d
is it good

Best beginner camera is definitely not a canon.
