I just got my Taitexma knitting machine, TH-860/868 and the ribber, TR-838/850, this past week. This is a punchcard machine and it came with 20 punchcards.
Sue, if you have a connection to the manufacturer of Taitexma machines, would you please convey the message that there is demand for a mid-gauge PUNCHCARD machine? Some of us love our mid-gauge machines but not so much the electronics for patterning.
@@suejalowiec8232 hi there thanks for the reply, I have already done courses, also repair and restore some of the machines. It’s more about the yarn, does it do dk. I looked online and can only be purchased through the American market. The expense is very high, so to invest needs to be worthwhile. A video on the types of yarn and labels would be great.
I am a beginner machine knitter. I've had my LK 150 for a few months now and would like to purchase this machine bundle. Are you guys currently taking orders right now? Your website says you'd be taking orders in early march.
@@KnititNOW I watched this while considering a Taitexma 160 (extended) and got confused when I saw the comparisons with other machines. I started to think a punch card version was available.
Hi Sue, I just bought aTH160/TR160 machine but am having trouble keeping the machine attached to my table when the ribber is attached. I know Dayana from Dayana Knits said she had to change tables when using the ribber. Do you have any idea what type table I need when using both machines? Thanks
What is happening? I haven't had a problem with this. The ribber does add weight to the front of the machine. In the past, when I've used a table that wasn't heavy/strudy enough for a ribber, I had to prop the front legs of the table, tilting the whole table back to compensate for the weight.
Hello Sue, I am a 19 year old Fashion Designer from Hawaii and I have been learning more and more about fabrics and manufacturing. I am planning on making a bulk of around 400-700 Beanies. I came across machine knitting when trying to find a faster solution to get my goal completed. Is machine knitting the way to go for this type of project or should I try contacting a factory?
Hi Sue, Can you give me info of 3 payment of 45usd and how its work when will be the next 45. I am not able to get these details from your support bot.

@@KnititNOW Is there no option of charging after 4 month. I am going for 45USD. I am hoping my next charges should be after 4 months. Till the 4 months I would be able to do some progress. I don't think I will be learning anything in first month. I would get lost in exploring your knitting site.

When we first started investigating these machines, that was the first thing I asked! 😄
Sadly, I don't know that it's planned for the future.

@@annthompson3246 Sue here ... the sponge goes down ... on top of the needles.
Oh I put needles in first thanks very much Sally

I'm sorry, we only sell in the US and I don't know of other dealers in your part of the world.
It looks like their website is out of order, so I am afraid that anno 2024 we can't buy them anymore?

We have a few machines "on the way" but with the shipping situation the way it is, we don't have an arrival date.
How do I put the sponge, ie, what position 🤔 please its just arrived, thanks Sally
The sponge always goes on top of the needles. Here's a video about replacing a spongebar www.knititnow.com/spongebar
You show this advert with a punch card working, I thought they didn't have/use punch cards? I have an interest in the 160 extended.
I'm not sure I understand your question. The LK-150 does not have punchcards.

Sorry could you clarify - does this machine have punch cards?
The TH160 mid-gauge does not have a punchcard.

@@suejalowiec8232 After awhile, the s clamps that came with the machine fall off the table. Maybe they should be tighter.
I may try tilting the table. Thanks a bunch
@@ann8739 Yes. They need to be tight and you need to check them regularly
Such a shame you do not ship to Europe!!!!!

Yes, machine knitting will speed up your production of Beanies. The actual knitting will be faster, but you will still have some hand finishing.
