    Buy once, cry once....then you're set up for YEARS, the way you want.
    Would love to work out of a van set up as nice as this - maybe one day!

    Love it. Too often tradespeople end up stuck in the past and get very little efficiency out of their DAILY DRIVER AND MAIN TOOL-THE VAN. It actually blows my mind how much flack a guy gets when he trys to actually set up a van in an organised way. Great setup. Not much more needs to be said. You really covered it all. I'm an electrician and so much of what you have done transfers over to our trade as well. A+

    I have so much respect for guys that keep their tools organized and their trucks stocked. You would not believe how many fellas roll into the job site and waste so much time looking for tools, looking for fittings and running to the supply houses for under stocking the basics. You don't need to stock a store, but have enough for the current project and for the occasional hiccup. Nice set up.

    Those transits are a whole lot quieter as it is, not just the composite wall making it quite, I'm sure it helps, but I drive one with a metal decoder, and it's day and night difference between driving an E-350

    If you mount the batteries at the front onto a plywood sheet, then mount the plywood to a pack out dock you can take all the batteries in at the same time.

    That’s exactly the way I want to do my van when I get it
    Everything in one place where you know where it is and not just chucked in the back
    Like the idea of the battery charger in back to I wonder if you could install bank battery in it to charge a couple of batteries at same time

    Love the video! 👍 I can't wait to finally be able to afford my own transit and set it up just like yours! I am an HVAC technician now for a company and we have to use what they give us. Pretty soon hopefully this summer I will be going out on my own and work for myself. I do plumbing as well and no job is too big for me to handle. I also paid for my little brother to go to school to learn the trade so one day we can work together for our selves. After watching all these videos of van setups and seeing people in the business that's more and more motivation! I also work with a military veteran tech, he is my master plumber. Once I show him my van setup making just like yours he will go crazy! Him and I can't stand disorganization! Unfortunately the company I work for now is the complete opposite they don't care about us they just care about the bottom dollar! Sell sell sell, a true HVAC technician is hard to find now! That's why I can't wait to go on my own, take my time troubleshooting problems and offer a repair option vs just right away selling them a brand new unit. I tested this theory out for myself of someone coming in and not knowing the problem just right away said swap it. It was sickening to listen to them due to law suits and legality issues of it, I couldn't record anything. So everyone be careful of who you call to work on your stuff! Don't call big name companies, stick to guys like this who have there own business! Chances are they will be fair and true!

      @jrannis8076 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lawsuit is where you con someone into keeping an 8-year-old unit alive so that you can milk them for maintenance. Nothing wrong with a nice new high-efficiency unit unless you make a living off of maintenance, then those old units and cheap owners are like an ATM.

  • @pasqualeparente9776
    @pasqualeparente9776 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Very nice setup. As for the battery situation, I just read somewhere that you can use the battery operated coolers which can also heat for winter weather so that things don't freeze over to maintain the batteries at a considerably warmer ambient temp. This is so you don't have to bring in the batteries overnight. I haven't use this system yet but will do it asap.

    A little suggestion for the batteries. I have read of an idea, although I haven't tried it because I don't have a service van. But the suggestion is to use a plug in portable cooler which can also heat, and keep the batteries in there. I hope it helps...

    Wow. So day to day how do you leave time to stay so clean? Nature gets me around 9pm and I gotta stop so I can sleep. The the phone with customers calling starts around 4:30 am. That’s amazing. Service is the single handed dirtiest job day to day. That’s a clean truck. Love it dude. Maybe also a video on how to work 14-18 hours a day and keep van spotless and totally organized. I am always in awe by plumbers that can stay spotless and organized. I can’t stay organized. And the 4-5 hours I get every couple of Sunday’s is barely enough time to pick up just the trash. Great job. Keep it up.

    As a retired PD ESU cop I can tell you that those heavy pack out containers WILL move if you’re unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident. You can add a short piece of wood to span across the opening to keep them stationary if you get hit by someone.

    Well damn, I only started plumbing recently in May of 1992. Just got my Master plumbers license just the other day in November of 1999. And in that miniscule amount of time I can't remember ever seeing a better organized service truck. You sir have won Van set up. Please take your complimentary PAY THIS MAN WHATEVER HE ASKS FOR banner and proudly fly it from that service shop on wheels.
    Good day to you sir. May all your Taco' s and B&G' s flow smoothly and quietly.
