Absolutely loved you and Kyle in the Vlog. I missed that. I enjoyed the two of you together and I liked that you had Krista and Casey in the vlog I would love to see more of this the 4 of you together!!
Just a suggestion, if you are going to do a video addressing the accessibility for limited mobility passengers perhaps put that in the title so people looking for wheelchair or limited mobility access can find the information. It really was good information to have. Just make it searchable on TH-cam.
Thank you JoJo for talking about people with disabilities and some of the help you can get while on the ship. I am handicapped and this is a great concern when you travel. You are right no one has covered these issue’s in any vlog. They barely cover what a handicap room looks like. Thank you again.
This is a very expensive room on icon but it does give a good review of some of the accessibility features in some of the rooms. m.th-cam.com/video/JjLujXm30Qs/w-d-xo.html
Circa minute 2:46: "Gibraltar" is also the name of a British Territory in the Mediterranean Sea. It is correctly pronounced as jih-BRAWL-ter. [like the sound of jib plus the sound of "altar"]
A bucket list ! Never , ever been on a cruise with my husband Glen . Praying this year is our breakthrough for a cruise 🚢. My husband had forced retirement from battling cancer twice in 2 years . He now is in remission from both diagnosis. This is our year for more ! More blessings, health , financial freedom and abundance. 🙏🏻😄😄. I enjoy these videos and am making mental notes for our cruise history to begin 🚢❣️
Circa minute 20:00: thanks for mentioning so much about accessibility and persons with disabilities . . . a huge global population! I am happy to report that even the oldest ships in Royal Caribbean's fleet have wheelchair-accessible rooms (in all categories from Inside Cabins to Suites) and they are very spacious with wide doors and a lot of extra touches, not to mention the attentive staff on call whenever needed. Accessible public washrooms and doors are widely observable throughout each ship.
Another great vlog! Great to see you and Kyle together both have grown so much for different reasons. It’s good to see you addressing things people will need will cruising. Half down the week is going so fast. Enjoy!!
Circa minute 1:17: Bassetere is correctly spelled with two rs = Basseterre = basse terre = French for low-lying earth/country . . . authentically pronounced as BASS-tehhr (as in tear your hair) though you might also hear something like BASS-teer in its anglicised form. So it is remarkable that the cruiseline itself misspelt the name of a major stop on this inaugural itinerary....
Circa minute 23:55: your surprise about getting a 50% discount on a beer means that you need to read the benefits of the loyalty-programme (The Crown & Anchor Society). The fact that you know that you are a Gold-level guest (which means at least 3 prior cruise-nights and goes up to 29 cruise-points, after which you advance to the Platinum level....etc.).....explains that particular benefit: getting discounts on up to 2 drinks per sailing plus a discount on a specialty coffee per sailing. By the time that you reach Diamond level (after just 80 lifetime cruise-points), you will be entitled to FOUR FREE drinks per day! Go study the one-page chart! It keeps getting better with every Royal Caribbean vacation that you will ever do.
Loved seeing the port at St Kitts. The shops, bars and restaurants look much nicer than some other island ports. Glad you had drinks there. It’s so nice to support the locals! Loved seeing more of the Icon areas and your time with Krista, Kyle and Casey. Thanks for highlighting the disability access for those who need it now or in the future.
JoJo it shows that you are having a great time on the ship. Loved today's video. Thank you for showing us how accessible the ship is for those that use wheelchairs. Saint Kitts is beautiful. No picture with the little monkeys? 😄
Regarding the disability question, my last cruise was on Oasis of the Seas (2019), with my father, who had advanced cancer and was too weak to take stairs and was using a walker. He had no issues at any point, getting around. At shows and meals, it was very easy to get convenient seating.
So nice to see Kyle and Casey in your vlog. The ship does look massive when it is in port. Sweater looks great on you. Hope you won some money in the casino💵
Bless u JoJo’s. Most people who don’t deal with disability typically ignore handicap needs. U showcasing what the ship has was just so wholesome & shows the huge kind heart u have. Thank u Jojo❤️
Ok so you will have me on patrean now. I appreciate you taking time to address accessibility issues. I've been in a chair for 34 yrs in July and honestly that is why I go to Disney! It's almost completely accessible for my disability!!
Jojo, thank you for all the content on icon. It is nice to see how far you have come on your travels. I met you and Kyle on the Mardi Gras and thought you were such a nice young man. I really do love seeing Krista on your videos, she is very sweet! I know you touch base a little on the vegetarian options, but it would be great to see a whole segment with Krista on what the options are for vegetarians and vegans over the entire ship:) or anytime you both travel together. I have been on a health journey and love cruising so seeing all the options would be fabulous! Thank you for showing accessibility options or problems on the icon! Have a blessed week!
Really love watching and seeing the cruise but here especially seeing how you and Kyle have evolved. The addition of the ladies is also fabulous. You both have grown so much in a few years! Cheers! Everyone like and subscribe!
Jojo u are awesome for doing an accessibility review! I have been paralyzed/wheelchair user for way too long and have been a disability writer for decades, and your review was both admirable and adorable. Most people without disabilities are afraid to do these kind of reviews, but I think it's awesome that you did this for your viewers. I highly appreciated it! Ordinary Adventures who you showed in your vlog also will add accessibility tidbits in their videos whenever they can. Thank you again! And did you notice if there were any lifts for the hot tubs and pools? Sooo many ships have steps up top.
Huge thank you to you jojo about looking into wheelchair access we are family of 4 with our youngest daughter being in a wheelchair and we love to cruise it’s so nice to see someone talk about this on TH-cam thanks agian❤
Jojo thanks for covering the disability topic as a person with a visually disability who will be cruising this year thank you. I know they do offer tours and also have large print available as well as a professional reader.
St kitts looks lovely ! Great idea to give tips for disabled guests ! Nice to see you with Kyle , you both seem a bit more grown up on this cruise , it’s got to be the ladies with you both.
I love seeing you and Kyle spending some time together and Casey sitting down for a second she always is right in the camera it drives me crazy and I enjoyed you guys having a drink or talking for a second.
Hi JoJo, Hi Krista, wow, the view from your balcony is 🔥🔥 St. Kitt's was gorgeous and had a real fun vibe. The shot of the ship docked looked like an apartment complex on a boat!! You're doing a great job with the content, thank you!!
I do have mobility needs at times and I really, really appreciate your report on what the Icon has and what it doesn’t have. Keep up the great work. BTW, I just joined your Patreon page!
Am a aviation spotter from St. Kitts....lovely video...good exposure for my island... I have seen many blogs with others on the ship so far yours is the best...you now have a new subscribers :)...lovely ship lovely video and island greetings
To see a video of an Icon passenger in a wheelchair, see Navigate with Colleen and Nate. You get to see their wheelchair accessible room. One thing she mentions that I didn't realize is that the thick carpets in their room make it difficult for her to move her wheelchair around. Obviously now a smooth flat surface is the best for that. She also notes that their bed is a little too high, making it more difficult to transfer from her wheelchair to the bed.
I am disabled. I use a wheelchair, and I've done 3 Carnival cruises. One on a big ship, and 2 on a smaller ship. Personally, I never really had much issue on the ship itself. Elevators on embark day and debark day can be an issue. I think the most inaccessible things I ran into were some of the excursions. That's to be expected. With that being said, one of the coolest things I did on one of those cruises was a jet boat island tour of St. Thomas. The crew on the jet boat was super helpful in getting me on and off that boat. It was a blast! We tipped those guys extra because they were awesome!
Jo Jo….your vlogs are amazing!!! Great job!!!!! You’re showing a lot of different areas and topics….👏 We want to book a trip so bad!! Just need someone to watch our 3 year old! 😂😂😂
Absolutely loved exploring St. Kitts with you! The scenery is breathtaking, and your cruise adventures are so much fun to follow. Icon of the Seas looks incredible. Can't wait for more! 🌊🛳
We did a volcano climb in St. Kitts last time we were there! (Through Royal Caribbean!) It would be so fun to see you four do that one! We want to do this one again!!😊
Hi I appreciate the acknowledgment of Disability accessibility on Icon of the seas. i'm a retired paramedic and now disabled -there are lots of people out there who are disabled and do lots of traveling. 👍 love your videos they are extremely informative as if you work for the cruise ship itself. Goes the same for Disney parks those other "youtube guys" talk more more about themselves and their relationships instead of the details of the trip itself 😊 I had to navigate the Disney parks being disabled entirely by myself and my party. I can almost call myself an expert in that category now but it took a LOT of work.
Hey Jojo. AIDA is part of Carnival Corporation and it is based in Germany as you mentioned. The ship looks amazing and it's so cool seeing you and Kyle hanging out again. The ladies look like they're having a great time as well. Looking forward to more videos 😊
Great vlog! Thank you sooo very much for addressing mobility issues. I use a scooter and I was wondering about the elevators actually. Keep up the great work!
In 2017 I was on carnival freedom and I was traveling with my mom that was in a wheelchair and it wasn't a present experience for multiple reasons that makes for a long story the end result was us leaving the cruise at our first port of call not only did carnival reimburse out cruise fair they paid and made all arrangements for my trip home ..... Anyway best wishes JoJo and safe travels
Another great video of Icon of the Seas!! (Can’t wait until October when we are sailing!) Thank you Jojo and Krista!!! (Fun seeing Kyle and Casey too!) Enjoy!!!😊 Always appreciate Krista’s food reviews of vegetarian options!! We love her!!😊
JoJo thanks for covering. Too bad we couldn’t have collaborated on this, but we were on Icon with you and we will cover this in detail on our channel as Colleen is a full time wheelchair user. But thank you for touching on this topic.
Im so glad you commented. I'm disabled and am an ambulatory wheelchair user along with a service dog handler. I'm always looking for more creators that have first hand experience in accessibility!!!
Loving the icon Vlogs! As a gold member you get 50% off of your first two glasses of wine or beer. Sometimes the 50% off is applied automatically like it was with your corona and other times you have to ask for it.
There’s actually couple vlogging on that ship rn. They’re called Navigate With Colleen And Nate. I bet they will happily show and answer some questions about the disabled accessibility, since she’s on a wheelchair. Also there’s a room tour for suites✌🏻

We went last year and the ramp to disembark was at a huge incline and my dad’s chair tipped back too far and he slammed into the ground, hit his head & msc did absolutely nothing except blame him. We’ll never sail them again.
It's actually owned by Sabga they are Syrians from Trinidad and Tobago and yes they are all over the Caribbean but originally and 1st brewery is from Trinidad
The ship seems like a challenging 'Step City’, although I did see one escalator. An older person (for example) would spend a lot of time/energy walking to the elevator and back from the elevator to get to a location younger cruisers could reach in seconds. While even a smallish shopping mall (initially) costs nothing, but is covered by escalators, Icon certainly seems to be 'escalator-poor’. Should Apple's Vision Pro take off and cut into families’ spending on cruises, the Icon will need “step changes” to capture the “mature” market.
Great video. Thanks for the St. Kitts info. I hope ICON goes there when I sail. You don’t even know how special it was for you to see the Piano Man in an elevator not once but twice. Him doing it on a Port day in the day time I believe is I heard of on other ships. I’m a Patreon member but the vids are coming up as unaccessible. Perhaps someone can help me with this.
Also, you and Krista met Tyler not this past New Year’s Eve, but the one before in Italy he’s a special friend of Nate’s!! I love that you included disability information. Tyler has autism, and would love to know your opinions about cruising for a person with autism if you have any knowledge about that. We’ve been wanting to take him on a cruise, especially a Disney cruise, because he loves Disney, but not sure if it would be a good fit for him.
Always wanted to try a cruise ship but im far too scared of the sea! Thalassophobia kicks me up the butt big time, we did a mini cruise from Hull to Amsterdam and I hated it. I spent an entire journey there and back Constantly worried about sinking and me not being able to see whats beneath me 😫😫😫😫
Absolutely loved you and Kyle in the Vlog. I missed that. I enjoyed the two of you together and I liked that you had Krista and Casey in the vlog I would love to see more of this the 4 of you together!!

Great suggestion! I have it in the tags and description so that should help :)
Doesn't look easily accessible what I've seen so far. No one ever addresses this at all
You are so respectful to Krista …raised right
Thank you JoJo for talking about people with disabilities and some of the help you can get while on the ship. I am handicapped and this is a great concern when you travel. You are right no one has covered these issue’s in any vlog. They barely cover what a handicap room looks like. Thank you again.
I got you I wish I could get access to a handicap room
@@JoJosWorld Thank you so much. This will help in planning a cruise for the near future.

I love it when you and Kyle hang out and all the other Vloggers , everyone’s content is different and it’s like a family reunion without the drama 😆
Great to see you and Kyle in a video together. My first video was during the pandemic and you both were doing a staycation at the Comtemporary.

Wondering post. The 4 of you was beautiful. I have lupus so this was great, thank you.
Jojo thanks for this wonderful series. Great idea to focus on handicap access. Looking forward to more vlogs
I've been watching the ICON for a few days while staying on a boat in Miami. It's pretty cool
I do have mobility needs at times and I really, really appreciate your report on what the Icon has and what it doesn’t have. Keep up the great work. BTW, I just joined your Patreon page!
I know your time in St. Kitts was brief but I hope you enjoyed my island. Thanks for going ashore. Happy cruising.

More of the 4 of you pleaseeee!!
I love St. Kitts, it’s so pretty! And love the Monkey’s!!!
I would love to hear more about the vegetarian food options on the ship! I’ve heard Royal has a good selection but would love to hear if that’s true!
Krista is usually really good about reviewing vegetarian/plant based food!😊❤
We did a volcano climb in St. Kitts last time we were there! (Through Royal Caribbean!) It would be so fun to see you four do that one! We want to do this one again!!😊

Literally watching both yours and Kyle's vlogs back-to-back. Cool seeing his vlog from your perspective and vice versa.
Jojo you need to visit Puerto Rico! We''ll show you a great time!
Thanks Jojo for all the logs with Krista. I love seeing her on your videos. Looks like you guys are having fun 🤩💕🌹🛳️🌊☀️😎 ❤
It was fun having you vlogging with Kyle like the old days.
Great vlog! Thank you sooo very much for addressing mobility issues. I use a scooter and I was wondering about the elevators actually. Keep up the great work!
Really cool that I can watch Kyle's vids first then watch yours for today's action. Much love to yall from far western KY 💙
Beautiful video all around 👏🏼From the scenery of the amazing ship🚢The island of St Kitts and your time with your pals ❤
0:43 *What are those fake green plastic trees on the top deck next to the sun beds for? Are they there to create shade?*
These cruise videos have been awesome. Nice work! Also great to see you and Kyle together again!
The overlook area looks amazing!!
The accessibility info was great. Thanks so much!
Club Med 2 looks very interesting. You should go for a cruise on that ship.
5,000,000 Stars!
There’s actually couple vlogging on that ship rn. They’re called Navigate With Colleen And Nate. I bet they will happily show and answer some questions about the disabled accessibility, since she’s on a wheelchair. Also there’s a room tour for suites✌🏻
JoJo, loving your posts every day and I think you pronounce Gibraltar - Juh braal tr like the Rock of Gibraltar. Btw, why does it say on your Patreon, join to unlock? I paid the annual fee on Saturday after watching your Live stream, to get the discount on the VIP - Street Rat membership?
Navigate with Colleen and Nate have ICON videos addressing accessibility
Thanks for addressing the issue too
Ahhh I was thinking about the accessibility! Thank you! My dad has ALS and lost his ability to walk, so I’m hyper aware of these things now. MSC was the worst cruise we took. We went last year and the ramp to disembark was at a huge incline and my dad’s chair tipped back too far and he slammed into the ground, hit his head & msc did absolutely nothing except blame him. We want to see Rover the dog which is on the ICON at the moment.
Amazing vlog. Hope you got the invite to the Epic universe as well. You definitely deserve it. Keep it up! ❤
Love the double day(te) with Caysle (?)/Kysey(?) 😂. I’m missing the DINK-life (Dual Income No Kids)
Yay!!! Carib and Stag thats from my country Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
No they are not ..... we have a brewery right here in St.Kitts and those drink were all made here.
Should Apple's Vision Pro take off and cut into families’ spending on cruises, the Icon will need “step changes” to capture the “mature” market.
Princess is wonderful for people in wheelchairs! Thank you for bringing up this topic!
Great video. Thanks for the St. Kitts info. I hope ICON goes there when I sail. You don’t even know how special it was for you to see the Piano Man in an elevator not once but twice. Him doing it on a Port day in the day time I believe is I heard of on other ships.

Really enjoying your content Jo Jo!
4:09 the baby monkeys 🙊 how cute 🥰
So not okay yo 'use' monkeys in this day and age.
wow incredible ship i love disneeeeeeeeey cruise ships hopefully i will go on one yes august
Just wow🎉
