I own a Launch with 7k on the clock and it's such an experience, even everytime I go to the shops.

Awesome car. I have a 911. The Alfa looks much better. Yes the Alfa might not have as good plastics or carpet as the Cayman but the Alfa is a Super model and the Cayman is the girl next door. Which would you rather take out.

$89,000 for this car? Way too much. What are these on road costs that you refer to? Here in Canada there are no on road costs just tax when you buy the car. Here in Ontario our tax is 13% on the price of the car. We pay a personal licence fee and a licence plate sticker fee. These costs are nothing to complain about $75 for licence for 5 years and a plate sticker fee of $155 for 4 or 5 years. We get taxed lot on our gas which now is $1 per litre. The Yanks pay half what we pay for gas/fuel/petrol. Anyway you have a beautiful country. Enjoy your summer we are in winter here at -16C with a foot of snow on the ground. Cheers!!!!

In Australia, 89000 is a steal for a car like this. A BMW M4 and Jaguar F-Type V6s cost around twice as much, and considering that this is completely carbon fibre, it does look a lot more attractively priced than the Audi TT which costs only a little less here. If you compare this to the English price of the car however, it converts to about the same, but it is the price of everything else here that makes the 4C look like such great value. North America does seem to get their cars extremely cheaply compared with other places though.

You this is a limited hand built mini super car right? Also the car is fairly mechanical so repair are easier than current tech of modern cars. Also, it has a carbon Fiber tub, good luck finding a sports car with it for cheap. in the usa there are only 1300 4c as of 2018 and this is the last years run. this may become a collectible

I wonder what the insurance costs are for that carbon-fibre body.

For a taste of what Alfa has done recently that is good looking, same engine, far more practical (4 doors and a proper boot), at a fraction of the price is a 159 Ti 1750 from sold in Oz from 2010 - 2012. Obviously you don't get the extreme light weight and thoroughbred peformance, but is a taste.
