For the minigames, one exists on every page, but there's only two, so they're each just played once. They don't change at all from page to page so it really doesn't matter.
Arthur's Reading Race is (C) 1997 Living Books/Wanderful Storybooks and (C) 1996 Marc Brown.
In the TV series, initially D.W. kept claiming she couldn't read. But a little later on, they showed that she CAN read a bit, mostly single words, very much like what she does in this story.
