I'm glad to see this.I love the sqieaky shoes! Don't worry about the stares with the leash. I had one as a sighted mom. My daughter just had her 36th birthday and she's not scarred from it. (Although she may be crazy for other reasons, LOL!) Because I am a specialist teacher for children with visual impairments I also have to be an advocate. Most of my former students are grown with children and some grandchildren of their own. A friend of mine, who is blind, and also has a TH-cam channel, had a lady on whose baby was taken from her because she's blind. I am so upset about that! I did a search to show other blind parents and found you proving that folks who cannot see witht heir eyes are very capable of caring for their children. Thanks for the squeaky shoes tip!
Those shoes! Haha,i work in childcare and a parent brought those once after an hour,we are like “nope,annoying AF”And told the parents not to bring them. But i can see how they be good for blind parents

I am planning to do a video on keeping up with my toddler and wanted to know if I could reference parts of this video with audio preview and I will say the page I got the information from. I have been wanting to get a backpack leash and noisy shoes but didn't want to be judged. I would love to get your approval. If not I will just simply send people to your video without any audio preview. Thank you so much for sharing it has helped me so much.
Oh my goodness she’s so adorable! So happy to see you guys are adapting well in Montana. I’ve heard temperatures are definitely dropping there. I always wanted a pair of those squeaky shoes for my kiddos but never did get them. I tried bells on their shoes for a while but then I got nervous that they would pull them off. We had a monkey and leash backpack combo LOL. Like you, wasn’t afraid to use it. Also, you just get to know your babies noises. I called it my mama eye. We had a small house when my son was a toddler so we basically blocked off the living room and made it completely his zone. Outlet covers etc. until he grew big enough to climb over the barricade LOL. Definitely challenging but worth every minute.
