Why in animal respiration, we use two glass tubes . We can use one for turning lime water milky

In the second experiment , can't we just use limewater instead of the potassium hydroxide solution and the water to indicate the release of carbon dioxide by the germinating seeds ?

rachana dhanure yeah but its not too late for them. because i’m 38yo and just learning after all these years of all the combined pain in the amen 🙏🏻 things that I could have done easily if I gotten some scientific knowledge to at least very minimum of chemistry. Trust me kid even they say not to trust people that say “trust me”. well my kids 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades are doing well in science. Just always use PPE for science experiments, because things sometimes aren’t going to what we all expecting for. lol if ur not a kid.
