Hydriastele beguinii - The Obi Island Palm (and Form)!

This is a nice entire leaf variation of H. beguinii that is only found on Obi Island in the Moluccas Island archipelago. It is sought after for its undivided leaves, neat purplish-brown tomentum, and it can take a little cold!

You are right, it does have that leathery entire-leaf look going on like a Houailou. :)
