Why would you let the patient get out of the bed on the other side and walk all that distance before sitting on the wheel chair instead of just getting out of the bed on the side where the wheel chair is placed?
You're doing one thing wrong your patient is not supposed to be inside the Walker cuz she can fall over the she was supposed to be at the she's supposed to be at the back bars of the Walker I washed it with another therapist who trains other patients your patient could easily fall over and another thing she is supposed to been her back further down when she gets up out of bed looking forward and she's supposed to have one hand on the bed one hand on her walker when she gets up it will give her better support
Thanks very much for the useful lesson
ALWAYS! Use a gait belt to prevent injury to you and the resident during any ambulatory or transfers!

listen I need you all to use most of the true sizes of some of these patients some of them are triple the own cna weight
Is walking the distance of 100 feet with a walker very far

its so they can work on their ambulation, they need to be steps away from the wheelchair
I was thinking why would the patient walk all the way around and no safety belt on
