Wongy has become my crush,
NSB is an excellent player, she has brought up MI from many situations, Hayley has done excellent with her batting and bowling and fielding.
Harmanpreet has been a very good captain. Yastika has improved a lot, from playing for indian womens team and WPL one can see that her batting has matured, she will bring this confidence to her game. Jinti, its good experience for her , she will improve more. Saika lost narrowly for purple cap, but I feel she will use this experience to improve herself, Ameilia Kerr, she is the crush for many in Mumbai and she is now Mumbai Kerr. Jhulan and Charlotte were excellent coaches/ managers they let the players play how they wanted to play together as a team, they made the players enjoy their games.
Wish these girls best for their future, and pray they do well, always play the best they can and keep these bonds strong.
Shall miss Wongy the most I am going to watch all her games from now.

....😊...it was a much awaited n expected WPL by the BCCI, but promptly initiated by legend all- rounder n member of '83 w c, dear Roger Binny sir the current President....n he formerly approved the start of the first women's league from 2023.....so, Congrats n thanks to roger Binny sir.... Expect more live action in future....👏......thanks....👍....
yes but maybe they were not entirely prepared, maybe they wanted to see how this is accepted, hence just 5 teams.
I guess they will come with new Franchise, and maybe WPL Franchise are cheaper than Mens (which go in few thousand crores) there might be Franchise from say Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities who might join next time, It was marketed well, the response was good, it should be like IPL with home and away matches so that the local girls they can see the stars not only on TV.

This was a much needed competition. However, some areas where it can improve are introduction of new teams at least 8 teams should be there. The venues for the tournament should also increase and the biggest problem was that this tournament was not marketed the way IPL is. If all of these things are improved then things will get better.
The next season there will definitely other venues involved, and i wish 2,3 franchise add in
New teams will be introduced whenever the next Mega Auction happens, and atleast for the next 2 years, we won't see more teams.
@@sanzcalibre5486 Very illogical thing, venue states could be changed but don't expect home and away matches like IPL bcuz bcci did not earn much money through tickets and to encourage the WPL they gave a free entry to women only. We can expect all this new franchises, home and away stuff after couple of more years.
@Arnav Gupta bcci earns butt load of money, they can arrange especially when you have ambani and jindal like people as part of franchise
Morover, they should choose wankhede Or Pune or other state next season where there are many stadium these pitches should stay consistent throughout the match which they weren't during many matches
@@arnavgupta21 Well whether there will be home away schedule next year? But atleast it's good to know people have watched and are talking about it, I mean even I don't watch women's cricket but this WPL has given something which I liked most.

Kind of never missed men's team members but why I already miss them?
maybe because you know they truly fought, and you seen then jump and dive to take catches and save runs, we can see them give their 100% and their disappointment when they faltered, the men's team is more "professional" its party all night even after a loss. In WPL we have seen the team get in a huddle and talk about what went wrong etc, there is nothing such shown about means team but we know that post game, players of both team party together, they don't feel the "loss" but we could see the disappointment when the WPL MI team lost.
@@sachinmesta4238 yes they were so sincere and graceful throughout the tournament, no sledging, no tantrums, no drama, just pure cricket. It felt like they added a soul to MI franchise, men's team is the body and women team is The soul.

Though they are a really talented team, do they need to stoop down to the tactics Izzy Wong adopted? Above waist high full tosses accounting for 2 key Delhi wickets. Meg Lanning had a right to be furious. Game, set and match right there 😢
