Engineer boots are just gr888, I’ve wanted a Red wing unfortunately couldn’t get one so decided on a Chippewa as they had my size & Brand new. Love them, still wanna red wing engineer, hopefully they will start making them again .

Thanks for exposing the shady dealing that are going on out there. I have been saving my hard earned dollars for my next pair of RW's 10877 on my hit list. I know I can just go to a normal RW store and get them out its good to know that we need to be prudent with who we are dealing with.
Are the 2268s pretty true to size for u? I’m going to order them possibly from the red wing store in London and I’m trying to save myself an exchange or return. So any info helps! I really love your videos
Hi there, how does Ice Cutter fits I know it’s an eight last but with all the padding/insulation should I go up .5 size or keep to my normal eight last size? Thanks and stay safe
CJ, why are the engineers difficult to break in relative to other styles? Is it because they are built from larger pieces of hide with less seams.... or are you saying that because of how high up they are on the calf? Cool dog!
I think they are difficult because of the instep. Where my instep meets the curve of the leather and the strap laying across is the perfect storm. Perfect storm of "ouchness"

We just like the style and the quality of the clothing. Nothing wrong with that. Everything else is just fast fashion low quality slave labor made trash.

I suppose I’m addicted to old style but blue jeans belong with engineer boots. The slimmer fit jeans looked great with the red wings

Hey Wes, If you own any Red Wing Round Toe boots (i.e. Iron Ranger, Beckman, Blacksmith) pick up the 2268 in the same size.

You could go up a half size if you want to keep the insert from jump. Or, get your normal size... break the boot in then place the insert.
I wear a 9.5 EE iron rangers I noticed these don’t come in wide sizes do you think a 10d would fit?
Yes, a 10 or 10.5
If I had a pair of engineer boots I'd go for eyes or a pair of gray chinos or blue jeans. If not I'd also wear them with brown cotton twill trousers.
