Thank you for a wonderful video. I knew Simeon back in the late 1990s and early 2000s when I worked for Downtown Pittsburgh Lazarus Department Store. His iconography is beautiful and unique. I am richly blessed to have five of his masterpieces. He is truly a master iconographer.
thank you very much for this rare video. this man is an old believer, who traditionally do not permit themselves to be photographed, or otherwise associate with pagani. i'm assuming he is a member of saint nicholas, which is the old believer parish in marianna, PA, about 30 miles from pittsburgh. his home chapel is set up like a bezpopovtsy chapel, which is a nice alternative to an icon corner for prayers at home. thanks so much for sharing

What's also amazing is that there is no mention of Simeon Larivonovoff anywhere on Google (which is rare for any search to come up with zero searches). Thus your video documentary is the first research to reveal his artistry. Great job!

Simeon is a neighbor and friend. He is brilliant, very kind and amazingly talented. He is a Pittsburgh Treasure and a beautiful human.
