I was ready to call PAC my favorite wrestler because I thought he was gonna wrestle the entire match blindfolded. Even if he could see through it, it would've been hella impressive. And that would be such a badass gimmick
Yeah, I was very disappointed when he took the blindfold off. Had major Illidan /demon hunter vibes, would've been awesome if he could have kept the blindfold as part of the gimmick for a while. Though I'm sure it would make many of his signature moves much more difficult, I think if anyone could pull it off, it's PAC.
Pac actually in the real life wears glasses i don't think he is see good

Would love to see a Ministry Of Darkness type angle with the House Of Black terrorizing dynamite, would put Malaki over huge as a world title main eventer

Maybe have the King holding the guy on his shoulders like the torture rack and then have Black hit Black Mass and then King finishes with a burning hammer type move but a bit safer.

This team is going to fast track their way into the title picture. There aren't a lot of tag teams in AEW that can legitimately draw heel heat like the Kings of the Black Throne.

I agree with op's sentiment but 'legitimate heel heat' just isn't the right term for what the House of Black draw. They get good reactions, yeah, no doubt. Just not legit heel reactions. They are very much the cool heels, which is a category unto itself at this point.
A pure heel is someone who does everything to piss the audience off and is angling to draw exclusively heat so they can eventually get a babyface over, not themselves. Your MJFs, Mizes, Corbins, etc.
Crazy how over Death Triangle and the House of Black are haha. Sure they were getting boo’d but of course they were! Awesome feud. Don’t really wanna see any of the “crazy” things go on with Penta though. Let’s just pretend the mist didn’t hit his eye 😂
Pentagon Jr. is amazing but PAC is like from a different galaxy altogether.
From a monster like King and a dangerous striker like Black I would've expected a more impactful team finisher than what they call Dante's Inferno. Like maybe have Black do a Black mass Kick first and have the opponent fall into King's arms for that powerslam to finish it off...
Or better yet, A Discus Clothesline/Black Mass combination.. Brody does do a discus clothesline as a part of his moveset...

Or, the usual start to the move, but then - while King has the opponent on his shoulder - a Black Mass kick from Malakai, followed by the completion of the move.

@@BelartWright Agree. I have to be honest, I haven't seen their tag team stuff on PWG and so when they had their tag debut in AEW I wasn't expecting that move to end the match. Afterwards I felt a bit underwhelmed to see these two intimidating people use such a "weak" looking finisher
I like the Brody and Malakai as a team, but they need to just call themselves the house of black(at least while wrestling in AEW) and they need better finisher. Out side of those nit-picks, those two are definitely going to win the tag titles at one point, most likely before the year ends.

Agreed they definitely need a better finisher. For some reason I'm envisioning a slight twist to the Elimnators ( Saturn and Kronus) move total elimination. Only instead of a kick, do the leg sweeping and closeline from hell. Would take crazy timing though.

@@al2085 sounds awesome on paper but very difficult to pull off real time. Though, if any team were going to take it, the kings have the best chance of pulling it off and making it unique.
@@WOWlowLifeDoj very true, a majority of finishers are. But I guess he gets a slight pass being that he does a bunch of suplexs so in Kayfabe it wears them down. Then he hits another impactful move.
That dodge of the hook and the combination strikes by Black .... man that was smooth. It's so nice to see wrestlers deploy strikes that aren't the overhand right in slow-mo. Dope match, 4 great wrestlers, the only thing is Dante's inferno is cool but I think the Kings can do better as far as team finishers.
I love Malakai Black, you can see his MMA training just in the way he moves with all his strike

PAC done it very well in AEW especially his high flying moves looks very fantastic he deserves to win TNT championship this year, PAC vs MALAKAI BLACK could lead to a very underrated and great storyline of the year, cant wait for there one on one match in ring🔥

I do want Pac to be world champion someday, but not right now and certainly not when he constantly shows up for a few weeks and isn't around for the next 3-4 weeks cause he doesn't want to move to the US.

Good catch, but let’s hope that there’s real depth and thought at play here, and that you’re not just reading too much into something that’s a coincidence. I find that in wrestling, that’s where the ball gets dropped. Just as they began dropping the ball with Malakai since his first loss to Cody. I’m really hoping they can recover that momentum, because I am noticing that the audience aren’t quite as engaged with Malakai as they were around late 2021.
I'm gonna be honest... The Kings Of Black Throne are absolutely fire, but my personal opinion is that Dante's Inferno is an underwhelming finisher for someone of the Calibre of Malakai and Brody... Brody uses a discus clothesline...
A Discus Clothesline/Black Mass combination would be awesome
Beleive or not MALAKAI BLACK & PAC really showing why kayfabe is still alive, their storytelling in match in outsdanding not like ALEXA BLISS 🤣, they could have good series of matches, especially very excited for HOUSE OF BLACK formation and its new member it will be one of strongest faction in AEW for sure🖤

I prefer Malakai as a singles wrestler. He doesn't need a tag partner. It's actually hurting his character imo.
It is, but at the very least, this partnership supports his gimmick unlike that silly nonsense they did after his loss to Cody.

I really have a joy seeing Black and Brody together,a fitting team with very fine coordination. Black still being capable,yet also intelligent and thinking outside the box,a captivating fighter.

I love the little things, like the lack of corny preening in the post-match celebration by the heels here. The match was hard, difficult, and they would've lost, but didn't, and the selling reflects that in a way that doesn't kill off the faces.

Dante's Inferno could use some more impact. It's basically just a body slam by Brody. Malakai could toss in a strike before lifting the opponent, or a head kick before Brody bring them down. Or Brody could make it look like he's basically spearing them mid-air into said body slam, as opposed to simply catching them.
As awesome as this was it might have been better as a fatal 4 way. The incredible spots from each guy.
