If you guys don't operate it properly, of course you'll get injured. There are people operating these with flip-flops for 20 years without any injury. 😂😂
I just picked one up, used from a friend, that I’ll be using this weekend. My 2-year old lawnmower is also a Honda and the thing works great. 😁 “🎶Follow the leader…he’s on a Honda! 🎶”
It's easier if you use shovel and break up the ground first, especially if you have thick grass or hard soil. So just stick shovel into ground and give it a turn, repeat in area you want to be a garden... then do what guy in video's doing. Also, advice from someone who does bit of gardening... buy a rear tine tiller. I have gardened with front and rear tine, even a shovel/hoe(my first garden, exhausting), rear tine makes gardening enjoyable because it's so much better at "tilling" soil.
Me and my wife just brought our first home, and the backyard is nothing but weeds, it's a decent size yard, will I be better off using a shovel or a tiller to uproot them?
If you’re going to operate, a front tine tiller like that, you might as well save the money and get a rear tine and save yourself, masses and masses of time!
@@ThePaulg123 I’m not an expert, but did landscape for about 10 years. The problem is whatever is still in the soil, like seeds and such. You can till in a pre emergent like image to prevent the seeds from growing. Image prevents germination of the seeds. Any of the root systems that are still able to grow after tilling, spray with a herbicide after they start popping out. I’m sure much more knowledgable people will respond.
And actually every video or article I have read about tilling has never suggested breaking the ground up first I would just like to know why because maybe it isn't that obvious
I might be wrong (please correct) but I just found out about tilling, as I'm trying to work out the easiest way to dig up my garden to plant some fresh grass seed but if you have to break the ground up first isn't that making hard work and defeating the purpose of needing something like this?
If this is the full tutorial, I would hate to see the short tutorial.
Full tutorial. Shows a dude walking forwards and backwards with it running. Great.
There’s the depth bar on the back.
Step 1. Wear boots
Naa bruhh
I almost lost my foot wearing regular shoes... Highly recommend
Why? The blades are on the other side of the wheels.
@@zokon8871What did you do? Step in front of the machine?

Those little Honda motors are everywhere.... they must be some good motors.

Cool “tutorial” bro!
Take the tires off it will work so much better lol 😂
Full tutorial. I’m dead 💀
What model tiller are you using?
You need to get a tiller 😮.
Might be easier to start up top and walk it backwards instead
Black socks and tennis shoes. Bad to the bone 👍😆

This is the popular style. I don't think they would make these if they don't work.
Lift the wheels so it actually tills maybe
Also would the weeds grow back as they are being churned back into the ground? Serious question
Pretty much.
@@voodoo7008 so the only way to be sure would be to dig all the weeds out beforehand?

First lower the wheels hell take em right off to till.
Didn't run over the bag .... do you even know what you're doing?
They’re at their best next to a chain link fence.
😢 Wheels up!
Your supposed to lift the tires up out the way
😂😂😂😂 is this a joke?
Dude is getting walked like a dog going to find a poop spot
souwen jum..... menak pacul wae timbang kuwi kakean ragat.
I’ll tell you how to use a tiller. It’s called common sense, and if ya don’t know what that means use your brain
Tutorial lazy for you boss, better you full out 2 small wheels haha
You need to break new ground up first. 🤦🏻♂️
Why?

Is it not obvious? 🤨
@Dr Vinson so till before you till? I've tilled grass lawn into a garden never broke it up first
