I know islam allows us to marry up to 4 wifes but it also says that if you can't treat them equally marry only one!! As far as i am concerned one is enough for me.
All men is different some are monogamous and some are polygynous. There's more women on the planet than men by millions. It's sad many women gonna be alone. Men the won't the responsibility anymore and women today are delusional by the media
As a Christian American I am a very big believer in polygamy , I honestly believe there would be stronger families and fewer unhappy and lonely Christian women if more of them were open to the idea of polygamy.
That's true , but the WEST push monogamy via media for their economical gain and keep women single so their children can be a statistic and monetize it.

PS. Dear Sister Isatou , the correct term is polygyny which is a man having more than one wife as opposed to the general term polygamy which means marriage in which a spouse of either sex may have more than one mate at the same time.
PPS. Thank You again for a great explanation of this permissible practice in Islam which however is not a right or privilege it is more of an additional obligation that a high value man takes on and bears in the right manner.
Polygamy will always have supporters and haters, just like those who like or dislike policing, but there are other reasons for polygamy than was mentioned in the video. I'm pro polygamy. Thanks for this video
I think adults can do what they like as long as its ethical and morally right, as a commentator said below - treating the wives right and treating them equally, from the emotional attention, intimacy, quality time, and finances. Way easier said than done? You spoke a lot about why polygamy is important or beneficial for Senegalese men. Why is it important for Senegalese women? What perspectives do Senegalese women have on polygamy? What recourse do women have if their husband takes on a second wife without their approval - like what happened in Maitresse d’un homme marié?

I will speak on the Senegalese women in a subsequent video as here in Senegal we view it very differently. Thank u again and u do bring up some important points.
THANK YOU!!! They want to be polygamous just for SELFEGO but then they don’t allow the woman to cheat sometimes with an another hot boy . That does t make sense. If they are possessive they should be LOYAL!

Racial views and personal opinions aside….nothing is special about white or arab women my dear….they are the same as black woman. Non has superiority over the other except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness. Polygamy is sunnah. If you intend on marrying a Muslim man as a non Muslim it’s best you go and take a crash course in your man’s religion if you don’t intend on reverting to Islam before you go around calling a sunnah act that was here before you were born and will still be here after you are long gone bizarre.
