Oh my god... that’s exactly how I felt at the beginning and I was 37 when I got pregnant and I felt like I was 14 again. It took me til week 15 I think to tell my mum. But trust me there’s a reason the pregnancy lasts so long, it gives you time to get used to it and prepare. Huge congratulations you’ll absolutely love having a littlun. Xxxx
Never usually interested in pregnancy videos but I've been watching you for years and as ever you were honest and frank and I so appreciate that you did the video this way. We're bombarded with this idea that pregnancy at a certain age and in a long term relationship is always a good thing and something to be super happy about instantly, it totally isn't always this way and I'm glad you documented all your thoughts. And I'm glad you're feeling more on a level now. Get it girl!

for ultrasounds you need a full bladder because it sort of “pushes” your womb up and makes the image clearer! But the pushing down can make it a bit uncomfortable 😂 x
Congratulations!!! The best news!! I’m a student sonographer so I can tell you why you needed to have a full bladder for the scan- a full bladder gives the sound waves something to go through (fluid/urine) so that you can see the uterus whilst also pushing the uterus to a position so that it can be scanned more fully. So if you didn’t have any urine in your bladder, which is in front of the uterus, the waves wouldn’t have anything to go through and you’d get no picture because the sound waves can’t travel through air.
Huuuuge congratulations! 💕 I’m 35 weeks pregnant and still had a wobble the other day like “I’m not ready for this!” (Ours was third round of IVF so my rational side was like “errrm you BETTER be ready!”) Wishing you a super happy and healthy pregnancy. 💕 xx
Honestly I think this just shows that you dont ever feel ready for a baby, no matter what age you are, and it's ok to feel like that because in reality your just scared about the change, or being a bad mum etc. But everyone has that fear and I think its reassuring to know that most people will feel like that. Mary you will be a fab mama 🥰

The way you explained it at the start is exactly how I feel I’m your age ( I actually think we share the same birthday) but feel 14 at the thought ....🤪🤪this video made me feel like I wasn’t the only one thinking these thing :)
Thank you for this, I've been watching other 1st trimester videos and just not able to connect with them because everyone seems so excited and I am... not there yet. Also had major anxiety telling my mom/sister and felt in a odd way, ashamed? Hoping this all passes and I can start to get excited! Thank you for your honestly !

the broken sleep is your body preparing you to get used to waking up in the night. Pregnancy is an incredible thing and does absolutely mental things to you! But embrace it And eat whatever you wanna well want get a friend to get the Nando’s after the first tri you should start feeling better and wanna start eating things mine was orange flavoured things and vingery things

When I found out I was pregnant, even if I was 31 years old and married for two years, I was so scared to tell to my parents (In fact I told them after three months) and to everyone else, and I told to the world when I was 33 weeks pregnant (I am overweight and no one noticed til the very end). All because we where sharing the house at that time and we had a not so bright economical situation, Now things are still not the best but we got to move, everyone is so happy and our baby girl is turning one month in few days.
I know how you feel and I am with you.

I lost my appetite until about week 35. It was bizarre as there was nothing I craved at all throughout the pregnancy. I did have aversions and reflux too throughout.
Healthy little boy born a month ago 😊 and the positive (without trying at all- definitely was not intentional) was that I lost all the weight I put on as it was so minimal.

Omg I’m about to turn 39 and I’m 12+4. I’m experiencing the same as you except no family support. Tired, no appetite, just wanted fast food and fruit. Also terrified. I should say I have a great husband tho so overall very lucky.

I’m so happy for you and Hainsley Bear!!! I’m also super happy as I’m expecting my first child too! I’m 16wks and due mid August. Like I’ve said before, I know it sounds weird but it’s like you’re my friend and to have my friend going through this too which I find comforting. I had a really hard time in my first trimester, my sickness was unreal and my mood was the lowest I’ve ever felt, thankfully I’ve hit my turning point now and like you feeling very very lucky! I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant and my first trimester was pretty awful tbh, I had constant nausea and sickness for 9 weeks 🤢 but I’m here to tell you that it does get better and you will start to feel normal again 😄 congratulations xx

Omg congrats mary!!!!🎉🎉 I remember when you did a video 1-2 years ago saying you was trying 'natural contraception'... I remember replying saying 'dont bother i tried that method and ended up pregnant literally a week after stoping the pill😄
If you have really bad headaches you must tell your midwife...I had terrible headaches with my first son....😣😣 I felt like my head was throbbing. It stoped in the second trimister for me. 💓

You need a full bladder for the scan as it raises your uterus up out of the pelvic bowl, otherwise your pubic bone would be in the way. Congratulations.....its a rollercoaster. Try and enjoy every minute. My youngest is 20 now but I still go back and read my 'journal' from during pregnancy.

I'm currently going into my 13th week of 1st pregnancy. I have never come across a pregnancy vlog as accurate as me. The not knowing what to eat was an absolute nightmare. You cannot plan ahead and have to do separate meals. All I could eat was ham and cheese sandwich, cocopops woth blue milk and cheese slices. Im not too bad no bit smells are another big thing.l, some make me feel ill all day. Xx
