I agree with what you said, but anyone who interprets standard spinning reel gear ratios as always slower than a baitcaster of higher ratio, they'd be WRONG. Look into inches per turn because that factors in the filled spool diameter, where any size 30 spinning reel has most baitcasters beat.
Seems like a killer reel for deep-water fishing, but I have to opt for the Revo Sx Sp because the rocket is hideous. Im not sure what they were thinking with the bright red.
