Here are a few tips for Uncanny Legends: 1) Get Drama Cat’s true form ASAP, they are basically anti-relic Cyborg 2) If you get more Elder Catfruits, evolve Ururun, Mina, or Catman. 3) Do the relic cyclone, it gives you an amazing meatshield that can resist Relics; basically anti-Relic Cattelite 4) Cats can now be upgraded to Lv.50 with catseyes, so you know what to do.
I also advise not to evolve catman before ururun or Mina.( I advise ururun first) because catman is the worst of the 3 and is lower on the priority list. But the first should definitely be drama tf
Curse doesn’t affect traits like strengthen or wave. It only nullifies effects that have a target like relic, red or angel for example even if it’s a talent bought with np the only exception is talent orbs which curse won’t affect.

A lot of other people has pointed this out but yeah, the reason why lots of non-antirelics having curse resist/immune is because almost all the time relics are support enemies. There's a good amount of angel+relic combination stages in UL, which heavily cripples Ramen usages out, since it scuffs out his Resist vs Angel ability. That's why Ramen's curse resist is actually relatively neat at certain stages Also tbh the true main carry from that stage is Sniper Deadeye LMAO like Kasli was doing alright i guess to clear the relic doges but Deadeye was what truly kept Bunbun from pushing at all. Notice that your Kasli immediately dies when Deadeye isn't on the field? And that in your winning run you have 2 Deadeyes stacked up? Yeah. Deadeye is honestly so busted it's crazy holy moly. Regarding MechaBun, he's... alright...? He shines in like, a couple of stages, but usually you can find an uber replacement for him if you don't wanna bother farming the fruit for him. The other legend TFs are arguably nicer to have, though MechaBun is a bit more of a specialist-ish kind of unit since his stats vs non-relics still sucks xd. Oh and Drama's true form is busted, absolutely worth the farming, it's mega busted, boost the hell out of them

For those that are unaware: Curses from enemies affect you cats that attack certain traits and cats that make use of status effects. An example of this is sanzo cat. If he gets cursed, he can no longer slow or weaken (depending on talents) floating enemies. Another example is roe cat. If roe cat gets cursed, his resistant ability becomes null and is no longer tanky vs. red enemies. Basically: (to my knowledge) strong, resistant, massive damage, insanely resistant, insane damage, slow, weaken, freeze and knockback are all disbled by curse. These are all found in the "filter" under the menu "equip" , where they are given the title of 'effect' which is below the one that says 'target'.

Later in uncanny legends there will be combos of green and other traits so having anti curse can help with debuffers of other traits and green if they do get cursed and can’t debuff or be as effective.

The way I think about it is this: Curse removes the types that you target. If you freeze red, you now freeze nobody. If you slow everything like cyberpunk, you slow nothing. That's why you can keep strengthen, survive, waves and things like that. It's also why the target only units are really bad while cursed, since they just can't attack. Also, you can get level 50 cats now.

True form figureskating cats as soon as possible, practically the jizo of relics. the reason why curse immune is on most units is so they can do their special abilities on different traited enemies without relics affecting them, if chronos has curse resist/immune she can freeze other traits in the same stage without relics stopping her with curse.
The new thing with catseyes is that you can now upgrade the special cats to level 40 (buhamt, Valkyrie, etc) and all other cats to level 50 (rare, super rare, ubers, legend rares)

Maybe Chawsey could restrict himself to 1 or 2 ubers per lineup. He has the best ubers in the game, it would save him alot of stress. Just a suggestion.
He's completely reliant on OP ubers at this point, plus he doesn't use some of the best units in the game to make it more "interesting" (aka manic eraser, a baha) so I think it's safe to say that even if he does restrict himself regarding ubers, he'll still use kasli.
You should use kasli more. She has one of the highest long range dps if her surge connects, and she is good on bacically any stage. You should also do the relic cyclone stage, it gives you a really good meatshield against G R E E N
Her Counter part Dark Kasli ( dasli ) is also the same thing But the difference tho is that Dasli Doesn't do knockback she has the most dps ( of the epicfest ) averaging about 23k Wich is basically Twice that of normal Kasli

This may be a late comment Chawsey but you need to start doing Lil cats and Cotc 3. also farming growing strange is key if your wanna true form anti-relics. if you progress to far in UL without upgrading and TF your legends, you may get caught up in the stuck cycle
People who are against Ubers like .Ubers are a part of the game and the only reason you’re against Ubers is because you’ve never gotten a good one so you’re mad at the game and people which have gotten better Ubers than you

Some tips for dealing with Relics (sorry, Greens): 1) Get anti-Relic talents on Rodeo Cat and Doctor Cat - they are good for stacking in order to beat the Relic Cyclone (better than Medusa or Cossack) 2) Beat the aforementioned Relic Cyclone and its corresponding revenge stage to unlock and True Form a really useful meatshield for Relic stages 3) True Form Drama Cats to get Slapstick Cats - they are very good for delivering DPS damage to Relics 4) True Form some of your Legend (not Legend Rare) cats, in particular Ururun and Mina. This will also help you with 4-star SoL down the line 5) Have a look for Ubers you have that have unlockable anti-Relic talents or can be TF-d with Elder catfruit to gain anti-Relic abilities. This likely won't be that necessary, though, since you already have Kasli Also, you got me wondering about the effect of Curse on Talents, so I went to look it up. You're right that Curse apparently only affects abilities that target a specific trait, including Talents unlocked with NP. However, abilities or Talents that aren't trait-specific (like Crit or Money Up) are not affected by it. So a cursed Catasaurus should still be able to land crits (since a crit can be done on any enemy, not just on metal) and if a Cursed Maglev gets the final hit off on an enemy, you should (I think) still get the extra money. Apparently Talent Orbs aren't affected by Curse either, but I'm unsure of the specifics of this. I *think* how it probably works is that if a cat has an ability like, say, Massive Damage against Floating, it will lose that ability when cursed and do the same damage vs Floating enemies as it does vs all non-Floating enemies, but if it has a Massive Damage Up Talent Orb against Floating on it, that Talent Orb won't be affected by the Curse and will give it a boost in damage vs Floating relative to vs other traits. But don't quote me on that!

Rodeo cat together with thaumaturge works really well against the relic cyclone which you should immediately do since, as a reward, you get modern cat. Also do the awakening stage to get the true Form - future cat
Enemy Curse just turns off trait targets of a cat, so like let's say that a talented pizza cat with waves gets cursed, he will stop doing massive damage to black enemies but wont stop doing waves. Cats that resist curse but dont target relic are useful when you have mixed stages and you want your cats targeting their stuff, like ramen, if you have a stage with angels and he gets cursed he would stop being bulky against angels and would get wrecked.
Cats that are recommended for Relics: The awakened legend units (like Ururun’s true form, Mina, or Musashi) Slapsticks as you know. Primordial Cat (obtain from Charybdis Mouth or Typhoon Nemo). Jojo Cat Medusa is good, but her short range can make her miss some relic enemies, for example, Sir Rel (relic form of Squire Rel) Cossack? Garbage, not worth. Using Rodeo Cat (true form of Cat Gunslinger)’s talents (especially Relic targetting) can help with slowing tough relic enemies like Old Horn (relic form of One Horn) Green Shell can be used for stalling relic enemies if you also include Thaumaturge (true form of Onmyoji) to weaken them.

He doesnt even use manic eraser or bahamut in any stage up untill then,(please use them omfg) he uses cossack cat and doesnt realize that every time he puts him out in that stage he just dies instantly, he didnt have to farm elder cat fruit first to evolve his legend units or drama cats or spend np on gunslinger or maybe doctor or something, and just got carried by one uber and cleared what is supposed to prepare you for the hardship of ul on the first day he tried it. Curse doesn't get rid of things like wave attacks, surge, or yukimura's strengthen, it can get rid of tallents, but only if those talents are on the list of things they can negate, you should really read the list more closely, curse doesn't get rid of everything.
(Why cats have curse immunity but they are not good against GREEN?) Chaswey here is your answer but you might dont wanna know it Other traited enemies will appear with relics... Like imagine relic doges and angel gories

OK Chawesy my man, go into cat filter ( update the game first ) and look at abilities, everything in the first section are the things that get negated if a unit is cursed, and units have imune to curse ability because there are stages with mixed enemis you get me, also I think you didnt realize but you can now upgrade your units to level 50 ( also if you want to know the secret of how to be good at cat game, thats easy you just need to playmorehollowknightlikecmonpleaseitsbeenlikeayear you get me )
This may be a late comment Chawsey but you need to start doing Lil cats and Cotc 3. also farming growing strange is key if your wanna true form anti-relics. if you progress to far in UL without upgrading and TF your legends, you may get caught up in the stuck cycle

Hey Chawesy! Some tips for dealing with Relics (sorry, Greens):
1) Get anti-Relic talents on Rodeo Cat and Doctor Cat - they are good for stacking in order to beat the Relic Cyclone (better than Medusa or Cossack)
2) Beat the aforementioned Relic Cyclone and its corresponding revenge stage to unlock and True Form a really useful meatshield for Relic stages
3) True Form Drama Cats to get Slapstick Cats - they are very good for delivering DPS damage to Relics
4) True Form some of your Legend (not Legend Rare) cats, in particular Ururun and Mina. This will also help you with 4-star SoL down the line
5) Have a look for Ubers you have that have unlockable anti-Relic talents or can be TF-d with Elder catfruit to gain anti-Relic abilities. This likely won't be that necessary, though, since you already have Kasli
Also, you got me wondering about the effect of Curse on Talents, so I went to look it up. You're right that Curse apparently only affects abilities that target a specific trait, including Talents unlocked with NP. However, abilities or Talents that aren't trait-specific (like Crit or Money Up) are not affected by it. So a cursed Catasaurus should still be able to land crits (since a crit can be done on any enemy, not just on metal) and if a Cursed Maglev gets the final hit off on an enemy, you should (I think) still get the extra money. Apparently Talent Orbs aren't affected by Curse either, but I'm unsure of the specifics of this. I *think* how it probably works is that if a cat has an ability like, say, Massive Damage against Floating, it will lose that ability when cursed and do the same damage vs Floating enemies as it does vs all non-Floating enemies, but if it has a Massive Damage Up Talent Orb against Floating on it, that Talent Orb won't be affected by the Curse and will give it a boost in damage vs Floating relative to vs other traits. But don't quote me on that!

You need a third meatsheild, you have no idea how many times more difficult the game is without manic eraser this is why the enemies push so hard

Rodeo cat together with thaumaturge works really well against the relic cyclone which you should immediately do since, as a reward, you get modern cat. Also do the awakening stage to get the true Form - future cat

Enemy Curse just turns off trait targets of a cat, so like let's say that a talented pizza cat with waves gets cursed, he will stop doing massive damage to black enemies but wont stop doing waves.
Cats that resist curse but dont target relic are useful when you have mixed stages and you want your cats targeting their stuff, like ramen, if you have a stage with angels and he gets cursed he would stop being bulky against angels and would get wrecked.

Using Rodeo Cat (true form of Cat Gunslinger)’s talents (especially Relic targetting) can help with slowing tough relic enemies like Old Horn (relic form of One Horn)
Green Shell can be used for stalling relic enemies if you also include Thaumaturge (true form of Onmyoji) to weaken them.

He doesnt even use manic eraser or bahamut in any stage up untill then,(please use them omfg) he uses cossack cat and doesnt realize that every time he puts him out in that stage he just dies instantly, he didnt have to farm elder cat fruit first to evolve his legend units or drama cats or spend np on gunslinger or maybe doctor or something, and just got carried by one uber and cleared what is supposed to prepare you for the hardship of ul on the first day he tried it. Honestly props to him

Beating An Ancient Curse allows you to upgrade non-legends to level 50 (with catseyes)
Curse doesn't get rid of things like wave attacks, surge, or yukimura's strengthen, it can get rid of tallents, but only if those talents are on the list of things they can negate, you should really read the list more closely, curse doesn't get rid of everything.
