Hey, DDLC is a horror game, not an 'Innocent game' that is only 4 anime girls in a club, But, Monika only wants you, AND YOU ONLY, so she had to 'mess' around, Sayori's character file was ERASED because she committed suicd¡e, ONLY A HORROR GAME, NOT AN 'innocent cute girls with innocent faces' Game, It's surprising that I know about this without playing the game first, but congrats for finding all the Easter eggs. (But you haven't seen the secret poems yet.. And the secret ending, 2 of them actually) BUT, Monika is the mastermind here, She's the one who controls Yuri, Sayori, And Natsuki.
But, if you delete Monika, Sayori will be the president and will be aware that everything is a... Lie, and fake, and not really real, she'll k!ll herself, and Yuri is probably the vice president, she'll also k!ll herself if Sayori is gone and now she's the president of the club, But Natsuki will disappear, Leaving you with an ending (1st.ending.file "Now we can be happy")

Thank you for cutting away when Yuri deleted herself, I hate that shot. Subaru was hilariously confused by the time passage every time she tried to load (she kept thinking it was just a random filter color change, not the day/night passing), but yeah, hard to show that without the gore on screen

I definitely agree, however, I can't deny how that scene is extremely effective at making sure the average player has built enough resentment towards Monika so that they're plenty motivated to do what they need to do to finish the game. If somehow the whole Sayori mess wasn't enough.
The fact that Monika just arrives, realizes how much time you spent "softlocked" there and just goes "Oops, that wasn't supposed to happen, my bad, teehee, pero" is just so inconsiderate on many levels.
