This is what life is all about. This is why we need art. It lifts us up from the dreary of our daily life, especially when talented people like this band hit the sweet spot of any great song. Kudos to the singer. She has the right DNA for this music, the feel and the projection, and the voice. They are America's band!

Thanks Bb ZaZz. 'Blue Moon of Kentucky, Keep on Shining' was composed by Bill Monroe in 1946. It's a standard 32-bar tune (a-a-b-a). Perhaps the most interesting feature of this performance is that Tuba Skinny play it in the key of D. Most jazz bands play for months without ever using this key.

This band is incredible. I'm a producer, I've recently become a fan and they blow me away each time. And the passion & precision that young Shaye plays with is mesmerising. She's such a glue for the group and very skilled, as well as lovely.

and it's hard to believe, but Monroe's version was a waltz! (with no yodel effect). I know it is heresy, but I prefer the TS version.

It was all right but I have heard a lot better version of this song from other groups. I think the trumpet player, clarinet player, bugle player done great on this song.
