Muffler for Eastwood QST 30/60 Scroll Compressor | Product Demonstration and Overview

This video provides an overview of the Gulch Engineering muffler kit that fits Eastwood QST 30/60 scroll air compressors that have the pressure switch with a red, round knob (LEFOO LF19-4H). It WILL NOT fit compressors with the lever style pressure switch.
The kit provides a 16 - 17 db reduction in noise when the scroll is unloaded at the end of a compression cycle.

That doesn’t sound that quiet, probably is though. They sell cheap NPT thread cage mufflers, buy one of those and stuff it full of scotch bright. All it would help to buy an adapter to enlarge that barbed fitting and install a large hose to slow down the velocity of the air coming out to the muffler.
