It reminds me of some of the big malls in my state. Sadly, due to the trend in online shopping most of them are closing down, Japan's Malls look like they're getting good business though.
Yes, I noticed the same in terms of general layout and all the same international brands. I agree, this mall seems to be doing pretty good, but Tokyo is also very different compared to the rest of Japan.
