    Funny story this. Over the years I’ve taken 3 theory tests for various vehicles. Only ever got 2 questions wrong (not including hazard perception). I got the 2 wrong on my latest motorcycle theory test. And regarding hazard perception, this video is the best advice you’ll get, seriously, haven’t got the foggiest, my practice vids happened to have been almost identical to what came up on the day. Lucky lucky boy. I wish everyone the best of luck.

    • @BT-jc6tw

      Is the hazard perception for the motorcycle theory test much different than the one on the car theory test ?

    • @BeinginMotion
      @BeinginMotion  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not massively - but it is distinctly different. The Road Craft is most similar but then there are questions on how motorcycles work and behave. Hope this reply isn't too late!

    Suppose I do theory and pass my A1 licence, over 24, to take the A licence do I need to retake theory if it had expired before I'd had A1 for 2 years? this is confusing and doing my head in..

    • @BeinginMotion
      @BeinginMotion  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, it's a mess but your theory will last for 2 years, if you do the A1 and then the A licence within that time - you're good. You will need to do a fresh Mod1 & Mod 2 though, regardless of if it's within the 2 years... Make sense?

  • @345seadog
    @345seadog 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Agree or disagree. But as far as I'm concerned, bike tests these days are just a money-making scam. When I was younger, you took your test on the road with one guy standing and watching you. and it must have taken half an hour. All this crap now is just to con people out of a lot of money, and I don't like being conned. I haven't passed my test, but I was riding a 250-cc for years and never had any accidents. It may be important if you intend to ride a high-powered bike but not a 250-cc There is nothing they could teach me that would make me ride any better. I only wish I had taken my test before they brought all this bullsh*t in.

    • @BeinginMotion
      @BeinginMotion  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It certainly costs a lot of money! I do wonder if they have intentionally made it like that to keep people from learning to drive & ride.

    • @345seadog
      @345seadog 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes it costs far to much it’s ridiculous not taking my bike test in the 70s is one of my biggest regrets the test quick and cheap I used to ride on provisional back in the good old days the price and complexity of the new test must put many people off it’s certainly put me off.

    Good tips nice short overview. I paid for the dvsa online study guide which at 15 quid is ok with practice sections from Highway Code for theory and hazard perception but annoyingly they then want you to pay extra for full access to the Highway Code itself and road signs. Also its only valid 30 days unless you pay more. Oh well. There is i later found a 4 in 1 kit via an app which only costs 5 quid, I’m not sure how good that is but perhaps worth trying as you get Highway Code and road signs included with that.

      Hi Jignesh! Wow, that's really unlucky, the case studies give you 4/5 facts and some of the facts are irrelevant, I always felt each question was 'getting at' a point - alcohol / using a mobile phone etc - and when you work out the point, getting the answer is easier. I'd google 'DVSA motorcycle theory case studies' and read as many as you can. They have a similar format. Is there something you specifically find tricky?

    Got my theory test tomorrow at 2. Thank you so much for putting this video together. Watched it a couple dozen times over the last couple weeks and revised quite a lot so I'm ready albeit a bit nervous. Very underated channel, so well done compared to the loads of crappy videos I've stumbled across on TH-cam on motorcycle theory tests. Thanks a bunch mate, and I hope your channel grows the way it deserves to :) liked and subscribed.

      @@BeinginMotion No problem :) I got 48/50 for the multiple choice questions, and 67/75 for the Hazard perception. Funny thing is when I was doing it, I thought it was the practice session (really daft of me I know haha) so I was the most relaxed I could ever have been 😁 Absolutely thrilled with my results.
      Cheers again !

      @@DestroidoTO can I use my car provisional license for motorbike theory? Or do i have to purchase another provisional for motorbikes

    • @DestroidoTO
      @DestroidoTO 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Brock-Lesnar-WWE Your provisional license should be enough for motorbikes too, with a CBT and L plates if that's what you mean? You can absolutely sit your motorcycle theory with your provisional license, there are no two different provisional licenses for cars and motorcycles. After you pass all your tests it should become a full license for either motorcycle (A1/A2/A), car or whatever one you choose to go for.

    Hi bro I would appreciate it if you could respond. I’m turning 16 in February and I’ll be getting a 50cc. Would I need to do the theory test? Or just cbt test?

    • @BeinginMotion
      @BeinginMotion  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Crozouchi, you can just do a cbt and no practical but you’d be restricted to a 50cc bike that’s limited to 28mph. If you do a theory AND practical you can ride any 50cc bike.
      When you’re 17 a cbt will get you on a 125cc (as long as you wear L-plates)

      @@BeinginMotion I'm guessing the differences are hand signals and tread depth but do you know what topics are different if that's not too much to ask.
