    Your videos and wealth of knowledge have utterly transformed how I hunt and climb trees. Thank you so much for your work and all who have helped you.

      @user-cs5up9qx8s I appreciate that. This is kind of a one-man show with the exception of my camera operators who I try to show some gratitude. But if anyone is reading this who is from Southeastern pennsylvania, hit me up because I always need a camera operator!😆

    Well you have a point , the cinch offers an advantage over the Maverick in this instance , may have to put one on one end of my srt hitch pole rope, and carry along a throw ball just in case

    Been doing similar, using the Maverick, by making a loop, and reaching around with pole.
    It is nice to use this to better position ourselves, no matter the rope technique used!
    Thanks again John for all your innovations of the JRB system! And helping us climb Safe!

    I will definitely have to use this technique. I prefer the maverick hitch but I think I can get this to work almost as easily. I've tied a jrb end loop on both ends of my rappel rope so if I carry an extra carabiner with me I could just clip it to the end loop for extra weight. This video was very helpful.

      @jeremyknauer3386 I will demonstrate that scenario when I can. And my advice to you would be to use a steel carabiner... or a throw ball. Anything that you can clip to the end and grab with your Pole

    What about retrieval after you descend? Does the loop just get large enough to pass over the branches?

    • @jrbtc
      @jrbtc  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @trolltoll4583 retrieval is covered in the 2nd half of this video. The answer is that usually it will pass but sometimes we need to disassemble the Cinch.

    Hay JR how high can I reach up with that maverick pole I'm 6 '3" ?

    • @jrbtc
      @jrbtc  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can reach a little over 12 ft as you'll see a minute 2 of this video. And so you're easily going to reach 13 ft. In two moves my feet are at 21 ft. And so you'll beat me by over a foot for sure.

    You see with you JR your getting close to what we're really looking for , if we can get too our tree any tree with are rope climbing techniques and if we didn't need a throw ball or pre set paracord , that maverick pole is getting closer to what we're looking for , but it doesn't look like I could get the rope up we're my feet would be 15 to 18 ft . Keep on putting your engineers mind together so we can go to any tree with are rope and be almost Guaranteed to get rope up then climb, it would be every one's go too then👊

      We can go as high as we want. Maybe you didn't see the predecessor video.
