in winter its very dry n cold..no rainfall for 2-3 months and the roads gets very dusty so they pour water so it wont blow dust into thier shop making the shops dirty dusty..thats why most shops on the road sides sprinkle water near thier shops

Yaay..finally Nepal video is out.! I was waiting for this.! Nepal is a beautiful place. It's mix of Hindu and Buddhist culture. That spherical object rotating clockwise is called prayer wheel. It's part of Buddhist tradition. It's considered transmitting positive vibes all around by rotating clockwise.! And that streetfood is Mumbai origin I think 🤔. It's combo of Samosa and Chickpeas.! It's yummy..but make sure hygiene quotient.! The main villains of any streetfood are oil and water.! Many use unhealthy oil which is overused..and water for washing utensils or cooking is not always safe. This may lead to food poison or other illnesses. I'm not generalizing this. But a majority of streetfood are not hygienic. So make sure they're good to consume. 👍

Make sure you visit Bhaktapur and Kirtipur. It is much less relaxed and has more traditional landscapess with old houses, alleys, temples and palaces. Don't miss it. You will love it. I am glad you are enjoying Nepal, makes me happy.
The Living Goddess Kumari of Patan is one who can be filmed and visited in person where as the Living Goddess Kumari of Kathmandu is not allowed to be filmed or meet in person by foreigners. Have a wonderful time visiting Nepal

the shop keeper makes the street wet so that the road is not dry...because dry road the dust fly everywhere whenever any vehicle pass by and the dust settle on the things infront of the shop and makes it dirty...so they usually throw water on the road to keep it wet and the dust also settle down......

The reason they sprinke water on the streets, which you will nind in India also, is to settle the dust on the road. This way when vehicles pass by, they dont throw a smoke of dust! I am glad you are enjoying part of the world I grew up in. I am originally from India but living in the States for the last 46 years. Enjoy your journey. Must visit tangalwood Calm complex, tangal, baluwatar KTM and Jhamshikhel neighbourhoods patan for the amazing cafes , bars, restaurants, boutique hotels, shops, nightclubs etc etc . Most foreigners doesn't know about these areas and no scammers around.
