First album I ever bought, on cassette!! Struck lucky alright. Hearing it now in all its glory,the cassette players in the early 70s were basic!! Thanks for the music!
How funny, Shaun! Not "the first album" but among the first 30 albums I bought, and on cassette, 1972 or so. Played those cassettes on a portable mono tape recorder for years ...
Thanks for posting this, takes me back about 50 years. My older sister’s boyfriend had this on 8 track. Sounded pretty good in his primer gray Plymouth Duster he was repainting, with the 6x9 coaxial speakers in back.

sad as it is i have always loved the song Husbands and Wives. it's a good warning to anyone who is struggling to remain married. I've never heard his version before. It's good, but i kinda wish he had allowed himself to relax into it a little more, soften his voice a little. but oh well. he did it his way :)
