Ruler, straight edge, black marker and cardboard will gitter dun. Or Cardboard Aided Design CAD for short. Imagine, I made butt loads for twelve years as a computer tech and this is the easy way.
The only suggestion I have is to create a fiberglass wedge plate to put under the master cylinder assembly to tilt the master to make it horizontal. It will do nothing performance wise as it will work fine as is as you have already noted. However if it bugs you in your quest for perfection it is an easy way to get there. You spent many hours perfecting the interior panels to wrap around the corners that most people would ignore but that is what makes your builds stand out from the crowd. Your pedal assembly is better than an off the shelf one in that it is made to precisely fit right where you need it. You would have probably needed to cut it apart and modify it so your approach is a better one.
Hey Bob, now I don't think you have to change your channel name yet but you sure did squeeze all the rat rod out of that there 34 Hot Rod! I hope ole Red was ogling Elvira and missed the last couple of episodes or you might be hearin' from him! Cheers!
I understand that the brake pedal needed to leave room for the steering column, but by the looks of things, that pedal is hanging right at the door opening. Hit 'er with the blue wrench and get 'er back inside, Bawb. Red knows what needs to be done.
I'll get it down as low as I can but the master cylinder has to bottom out before the pedal hits the floor. Next video I'm installing the brake pedal pad and we'll see where it ends up.
Hi it looks good but l think l would have to wear my ballet shoes to drive that rod.looks very narrow in the foot well..l fabricated a number of pedal boxes for clubman sports cars l mounted the pedal boxes on the floor .with a balance bar on the pedal with small 2 masters cylinders .worked well cheers les from Adelaide south Australia
Hey Bob. check out Oliver Anthony's new song. Fits us Folks real well. !! STOP !! Yep Bob's got it. Simple and easy to maintain accessible. What more can you want.
If you could move your microphone further away from your mouth it would eliminate all the heavy breathing and smackey mouth sounds that everyone has complained about for years. I have seen a lot of people over the years mention this stuff but no one has actually come right out and said what is displeasing them. I work with a lot of audio equipment and have for many years. The proximity of the mic has to be very close to your mouth because we can hear every drop of saliva and every breath. Over time these sounds can be nerve racking. Just thought you would want to know. Love you videos, it's going to be great!
always wondered could tou mount the pedal and have master down on frame rail maybe it could rock and push backwards to the master..to hide it..for a clean firewall?which plasma is cheap and best been trying to get one for my boys to help intrest them in man stuff, (and ladies i suppose)..just dont have alot of money and was wondering which cheap one could be a decent investment..doesnt have to be shop quality..i need a sponser like you bawb so i can get me a free one too lol
This one I reviewed recently, works great and it's price is about the lowest for it's quality. www.ssimder.com/collections/plasma-cutter/products/cut50-plasma-cutter
Since this one will have a hood and side panels, I'm not too interested in a super clean firewall like my open engine builds. But you have to admit ... that WILWOOD brake master looks pretty clean.
@RatRodBobBuilds yes sir it looks nice, very well made for sure..been following your builds since Charlotte (probably my favorite)..you do amazing things with those hands..be safe and goodluck ill be watching..cant wait to see the finished product..
Bob , try putting your mic a bit further from your mouth , maybe on the hat brim . The sound of your lips smacking every 10 seconds is unpleasant to listen to . Love your content , not the smacking lip sounds . ......
LOL ... if that's all you guys have to complain about I reckon we're in good shape. I've been hearing that every since I started TH-cam years ago. I never ever smack my lips. That's my boots on the floor.
Lol i thought same thing i could only handel it for about a minute had to go to something else reminds me of someone eating with mout open drives me nuts.
@@fordnut4914 Ha ha haa. It's spelled handle and mouth and capitalize your I, but the rest is good. Didn't mean to drive you nuts. Stay tuned for more boots smacking the floor videos.
I see you're working right on top of your CAD software, you gotta do what you gotta do to get it done Bob!
Ruler, straight edge, black marker and cardboard will gitter dun. Or Cardboard Aided Design CAD for short. Imagine, I made butt loads for twelve years as a computer tech and this is the easy way.
Yep thats what my dad always said we ain't building a piano and we're not flying it to the moon 😅
Everything fits nice and snug, you haven't got alot of room to work with but got-er-done. Brilliant.
A nice compact assembly you ended up with there Bob..That little coupe will stop on a dime.
Damn Bob, When you’re good, you’re good friend..!!! Love your builds❤

If you could, do me a favor and give me a timestamp or two of where you're hearing this.
