    Hiya, great video!
    - For GBA, in KNULLI (and by extension Batocera/Koriki) by default it does a BIOS check before launching systems, and if your BIOS don't completely match the version they are looking for, you will get an error. Many GBA emulators don't even need BIOS in the first place, but some others do -- you can tell that the BIOS is properly loaded when you get the GBA splash screen when first starting up a game. Same thing with GB/GBC BIOS, those are not necessary but will give you the splash screen. Either way, to disable that warning press START when in the KNULLI interface, then go to Game Settings > BIOS Settings and there is an option you can disable, called "check BIOS files before running a game". With that turned off you won't see that error anymore, but just bear in mind that if you try and launch a game and you don't have BIOS you will just get booted back to the main menu.
    - For PS1, you are likely using a file type that is not recognized by KNULLI. My guess is that you are using BIN files, which need a corresponding CUE file to run properly. I recommend CHD files because they are compressed, and PBP files for multi-disc games because they are also compressed into a single file. Here is my guide on file types, that explains CHD and PBP files in more detail. retrogamecorps.com/2023/02/06/the-ultimate-rom-file-compression-guide/
Hope that helps! Here is my full guide for the device as well: retrogamecorps.com/2024/06/07/anbernic-rg35xx-family-starter-guide/

Dude NO WAY! You and Tech Dweeb are why I even wanted one in the first place! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and give feedback! That means so much, I’ll definitely check out the file type video. I’ve watched the RG stater guide so many times already! I love your channel, keep doing what you’re doing! Seriously thank you! 🙏 🙌🏻

My man, as soon as you said “I’m a dad with a young kid trying to play some games” you won me over. I’m in the same boat. I’ve been hearing a lot of things about the H model that are really good, but I’m not skilled in the technical department at all. I’m looking just to be able to pick this thing up and play GameBoy Pokémon games and DS Pokémon games. Are you able to tell me if those come stock on this machine?

I got you brotha! So I’ve heard that like Mario and Pokémon games usually don’t come on them, but mine came with a few Pokémon games not a lot so I guess each model can vary! But it’s not hard to add and delete games off of the original sd card.

There are no pokemon or marios in the new updates, thanks to nintendo and their lawyers, but they can be added very easily, as easy as copying and pasting the games you want in a folder from your pc.

Dude if you want hassle free don't buy from anbernic. Get one from a 3rd party like litnxt or an ebay seller. Not many people mention this in reviews. You can game on the stock anbernic OS but the rom selection is usually pretty bad. Some 3rd parties offer rom selections, litnxt has different os options making adding roms just copy and paste mostly.

@@JD96893 yeah I ordered mine off of AliExpress, definitely the cheapest I could find. But yes I’ve look at Litnxt and I’m glad that there is a company doing that. I think the next handheld I get will probably be from them!

The RG556 is so much better. One time purchase, don't look back. The RG35XXSP is your best bet for that game boy advance feel

Ok I’ll check out the RG556 and I don’t mind the SP but I wanted a horizontal layout. 🫡

Neither koriki nor Knulli are still early phase and have bugs, they work and have many great features as both are basically batocera 40 but adapted for this hardware so, I personally stayed with the original firmware, yes, it's ugly but it works great.
