That means a lot buddy! I would have brought my Rigby out prospecting as well, but he would have been absolutely gone the minute we found that deer trail!..... lol
What an amazing couple of days. I wish I was still able to get out like that. If I had to be honest, the antler shed and that GORGEOUS piece of yooperlight are better treasures than the gold. Congratulations
I am so pleased you had time to watch Rosie! You do so much for my buddies the hip bees!.... That Yooper is headed your way shortly, enjoy! Hope to met you all this year in person, cheers!
Thanks my friend, not getting rich from it anytime soon but the real treasure is the time spent out in nature unearthing stuff no other human has ever seen!
We really enjoyed the opening edits. You’re great at it. lol any shed is a good find , that looked to be 1-1/2 - 2 year, he’s gonna be a good deer. Extremely jealous in the yooper lights! Unfortunately no such find in Missouri, thanks for sharing that. Nice looking shiny. Great episode
Cheers GP!.... Have been watching a bit of your budding channel as well, so nice that we all get to be part of this community and share each other's adventures!
A very nice and authentic video, pal. It is not the amount of gold found that is important, but the exploration of the geology. I would have liked to have been there and put the antlers on my hat 😂. Best regards from Saxony/🇩🇪 ⚒👍🤠
Prospecting in Northern Ontario in February is an amazing feat. Great and very informative video. Im sure you can kill it there in the summer if the horseflys don’t carry you away. 😂
Yooperlites look very cool , would be awesome a few of them in a small revolving lit display case, the gold is there and worth pursuing, cool video bud thanks for sharing.
Hey, when you use the drill in the bucket, all the gold drops to the bottom. Bring your drill with you. Keep spinning materials with water .. knocking off the top few inches nd adding more materials!
You are absolutely right! That being said, when I first went there I was expecting to be doing some "above ground" crevassing and only bringing back a bucket or so of choice dirt... The snow foiled that plan! When I go back, I will be bringing the drill as well as a gold pan and my recirculating sluice since the pond will be open... I can get everything down to cons and only bring home what I need to pan out that way and make the most of my time outdoors.
Lol... every year in January and February... That includes all deer species including moose and elk!.... Happens after their testosterone levels drop after chasing the ladies around for a couple months :)

Dude! That is my birth place, the U.P. of Michigan. Back then we never knew what a Yooperlite was.. LOL. Those are Beautiful.
Michigan is a beautiful state, honestly we are all very lucky to live in North America and have so much beautiful wilderness to play around in!
Good video👍⛏️
