Yes, petting zoo can still be on a farm in the country or somewhere else in the city. No need to scrap what you have. It's more of a relocation. And would allow you to go bigger with the farm animal petting zoo as well as get more space in the zoo.
The panda exhibit is awesome, I think the word you were looking for is 'shrine'. Don't forget to leave room for the new 'city' gorilla's, red panda's, koala's (series 24) and wolves from the new CMF Wolfpack.
The Zoo is coming along really well. I agree that maybe when you find you need more space for Zoo animals, maybe a petty farm out in the country side. Also have you considered adding some of the Koi fish translucent tiles to your water feature as it is a very common thing in Zoos to have Koi in the water features
bricksie i would recommend changing the colour of the lions section to be dark tan in stead of the current one so that the lions stand out more and it feels more natural but i love the work and trust your vision :)
I googled your question - here is the answer... Yes, at a zoo, a giraffe, ostrich, and camel would likely be placed in the same area, usually representing an African savanna habitat, as all three animals are native to similar regions in Africa and can coexist peacefully in a mixed-species exhibit.
Really liking the zoo updates. If you ever want to change up what you do, you can easily continue with the deep sea or country side. Beauty of all of this is there’s no rush
Seeing all the animals makes me want to see the Dino figures from jurassic Park, they could be added by making a filming studio lot or a crazy golf.. Crazy golf would let some random builds be used too
Have you ever been to gator world in Florida? Think it would be awesome to incorporate the wood bridge the river and the gator exhibit then that would free up the gator space on the other side. Or could do same idea with an otter exhibit
It's great to hear the two of your talking through ideas in the videos. There is no need to rush completing this (or any other specific project), so let the ideas cook and come back to different areas as the inspiration strikes. Hopping around the city makes for good videos too. Also .... that old light grey arch!
This is incredible, and you two are doing such a great job! I don’t mean to pry, but why do I get the feeling that you are grinding out content and are exhausted? You are very good at what you do, and I may be imaging things, but I get the feeling you are both in need of a nice vacation with lots of sleep! Am I way off? It’s sad, because ever since Matpat pulled back the veil, I’ve always been hyper sensitive to weariness building in my beloved content creators, like yourselves! Your dog is so beautiful, but the way! Anyway, keep doing what you are doing, the builds, the texturing, and especially the color and just outstanding creativity, all is amazing! But I hope you are able to have some rest and relaxation, and aren’t just forced to keep cranking out content like everyone seems to be doing on this platform.
hey jordan! know you probably won’t see this, but it’d be cool to see an alpaca farm in the city. just something around where i live that might be cool. much love!
@Bricksie Make sure you make zookeeper entrances in your exhibits to enter to take care for the animals. And a fence on top of the hill so the lions can’t wandering around in your city..
I think the Zoo is coming along great! I do however think that the wall separating the elephants and the Lions should be a little higher. The lions could climb up from the rock face and hop the fence. Also the bridge being in stone or concrete that goes over the stream where the boardwalk is looks a bit out of place. A wooden/bamboo bridge (in my opinion) would look more cohesive with the surrounding area. That and/or a maybe a rope bridge. In the future, you might consider adding golf carts for zookeepers to get around quicker. Or even have a Safari experience type of ride for the kids where they're driven around in a type of train that you might see at the Mall or at the fair. No matter what you do, it'll look great. Keep up the awesome work!
I personally have no problem with your Lego zoo as it's a great way to show all the Lego creatures in a confined space, plus, let's face it, they are not 'real' animals (unless they wake up at night when you aren't there 😮) BUT, if you were concerned about the 'ethics' of a zoo, you could always consider a 'safari park' or 'nature reserve' type setup incorporated into your countryside and mountainous region, along with a farm and "petting zoo" for the domesticated animals maybe? It amuses me that some people have a problem with a Lego representation of a zoo, but a superhero tower block in the downtown area is all fine 😂. In the model railway world there is "rule 1" which is that first and foremost it's YOUR model railway/railroad so you can model whatever you want, no matter how unrealistic or inauthentic it might be! Same applies to Lego cities!!
You could move the separate nougat straight section that's next to the penguins over to the monkey enclosure to complete that part of the path. Then you can replace that part you removed with another color and extend that toward the black panther area. That way you have different color routes/paths going thru the zoo that people can follow for different tours.
You have a lot of countryside and you'll need something there so it's not all just hills and trees so moving the farm animals out there would be a good idea and you'd free up more space for enclosures in the zoo. It's amazing just how many lego animals there are..
really excited by zoo updates👍 i leave you just two suggestion to maybe improved the birds enclosure because i think that sometimes it's quite difficult to see the inside and a lot of potential could be lost in this way: 1) each two brown lateral sourfaces could be divided in two parts diagonally, the first part closed to showed up corner could became also glass, the other one closed to the unshowed down corner hidden by the mountain ramain made by wood; 2) since the low part near to the glass is the most visible one the idea is to just extend a little bit it by tilting the front panel moving the lower part forward to the observer and keeping the upper part fixed to not have to changed the roof again; i hope you enjoyed these ideas nice continuation, it's each yaer better
Keep the entrance as is you could change the yellow to Grey but yeah love it great job with the panda and love the brige but I think the panda would be better with out the back drop and gold but put like a cave thing add swirl
I like the Petting Zoo it's cool but if you move it maybe to the countryside. My uncle has a Petting Zoo on the property of his farm that could be awesome of having animals somewhere else. You Two are doing an amazing job.
Petting zoo in the countryside sounds great! Like Jordan was talking about having a tree farm for the Christmas village, a few months ago, and put the Petting zoo there!!😊
Hi Jordan josie. At the Melbourne zoo the 🦒🦒 have a shade type tall box room s for them to stand in. Have you got a hippo s 🦛🦛arear .and 🦏🦏rhinos . 🦓🦓 Arear . .
Oh my the panda animal fig s. Are so cute .😊 I remember going to see the panda s at Melbourne Zoo Australia in the mid 80 s .and we had a. 🦍mazzurie That become famous .but he died few years back .
Change it, Change it Now! Haha JK lookin Good as Always. I do think the concrete bridge is a lil outta place, maybe color swap to browns? Would fit the Vibe better imo
Sun would not discolor the under side of the arch, I think it was an "old gray" part... there looked to be a 2x4 plate of "old gray" underneath as well. I'd guess he just didn't have enough of the proper pieces in light bluish gray to finish it and these were close enough. He can replace after ordering new parts.
For all those worried that the elephants don’t go in caves, maybe it’s where the keepers are and it just looks like a cave . I hope that eases your minds . Let’s just enjoy . Tfs
It looks spectacular! Don’t get me wrong. But it is a little awkward that the owners of the zoo chose to construct the zoo so that a river runs through it. That’s super weird. 😅 Also it creates so much problems for you and takes up space. Why not have ground instead.?
Hi Bricksie and Jose. Glad to see the Dream Team planning and discussing the future building ideas. I do think that your ideas are excellent, however the availability of parts should always dictate where you work for any given day. I feel that you are far too pressured about completing things, and that's wrong! Lego is all about having fun, and if it's just a bit here today, and a bit there tomorrow so be it. I really love the paving. It really adds to the character of your zoo.
Love the zoo, I think you should expand the elephants a little on the the lion habitat so the have more outdoor space and their larger. The lion’s habitat looks a bit too big compared to the Elephants. Also elephants aren’t known for going into caves
Is it possible to build a shed behind the elephants instead if you remove part of the rocks. I think that would be a more common soultion where they can have like a sleeping area.
The farm animals being in the zoo is cute and I do like it, but man does it take up a ton of space that could be used on animals that'd need to be in the zoo. Excited for that Elephant expansion. Also love the panda exhibit
The turnstile at the zoo entrance isn’t needed to direct customers, makes figures with strollers and wheelchairs seem impossible for access. A security guard at the exit, maybe even a set of glass doors integrated into the brick. Also a wild idea could be placing the Jurassic Park modular along the perimeter of the zoo wall.
THAT PANDA EXHIBIT IS ADORABLE! 🥹 It's been a few videos for me, so I can't recall the available area in the Amusement Park, but... If you do end up hurting for more space in the Zoo, you could transplant that farm area, as is, into the Amusement Park! The park gains a petting zoo, and the Zoo gains more room for exhibits win win! xD
Yes, petting zoo can still be on a farm in the country or somewhere else in the city. No need to scrap what you have. It's more of a relocation. And would allow you to go bigger with the farm animal petting zoo as well as get more space in the zoo.

Agreed. I would even suggest adding the remnants of a fallen tree (without leaves) so the lions can walk on it.
I'd do olive green with dark tan, and more grass.
I googled your question - here is the answer... Yes, at a zoo, a giraffe, ostrich, and camel would likely be placed in the same area, usually representing an African savanna habitat, as all three animals are native to similar regions in Africa and can coexist peacefully in a mixed-species exhibit.
You need to get out more
I go out so much - that I have VIP Family Membership for our local Zoo - so I was curious LOL
Yes and 🦏🦏 to and .🦓🦓
Really liking the zoo updates. If you ever want to change up what you do, you can easily continue with the deep sea or country side. Beauty of all of this is there’s no rush
I've been loving the updates. Secretly hoping giant hippos make a reappearance.
I would love to see in the zoo like a little bat cave/tunnel exhibit. Good Video!
Lovely colors on the panda exhibit! Perhaps you can put a few dark gray bricks on the side of the bridge to break up the light gray a bit.
Seeing all the animals makes me want to see the Dino figures from jurassic Park, they could be added by making a filming studio lot or a crazy golf.. Crazy golf would let some random builds be used too

The panda exhibit is really beautiful.
I love the farm idea. Build a large red barn from rebrickable.
Love the curved wall, perfect
hey jordan! know you probably won’t see this, but it’d be cool to see an alpaca farm in the city. just something around where i live that might be cool. much love!
This channel is SMOKING lately. Keep up the great work. You guys look happy and I like it.
So glad Mrs Bricksie is back more. Feels like the progress is tripled per video not doubled!
Ms bricksie is the best !
I’m from ct and I started a lego loft
You inspired me to start building, you guys should be on brick masters
@Bricksie

Maybe relocate the farm-ish exhibit (like to the countryside), but please don't scrap it! It's an excellent build!
There’s a petting zoo out where I live! We’re just outside the city surrounded by woods and farmland, i suggest a petting zoo/farmers market combo! 🫶
Thanks for letting us know about this website, just ordered a few small sets that were on offer 😊
The Dynamic Duo ❤

Petting zoo in the countryside sounds great! Like Jordan was talking about having a tree farm for the Christmas village, a few months ago, and put the Petting zoo there!!😊
You were talking about a riding school in a previous video. Maybe you can combine the petting zoo with that?
Hi Jordan josie. At the Melbourne zoo the 🦒🦒 have a shade type tall box room s for them to stand in. Have you got a hippo s 🦛🦛arear .and 🦏🦏rhinos . 🦓🦓 Arear . .
Oh my the panda animal fig s. Are so cute .😊 I remember going to see the panda s at Melbourne Zoo Australia in the mid 80 s .and we had a. 🦍mazzurie That become famous .but he died few years back .
Gators should be in water area by monkey enclosure with a clear pedestrian bridge crossing over
I like the petting soo but if you wanted to remove it..... a small farm like you had in the old city with the petting zoo on the side.
Cave elephants 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Change it, Change it Now! Haha JK lookin Good as Always. I do think the concrete bridge is a lil outta place, maybe color swap to browns? Would fit the Vibe better imo
The zoo is looking great! The panda exhibit is cute!
I can’t ignore the fact that one arch has sun damage and it bitters me so much
Sun would not discolor the under side of the arch, I think it was an "old gray" part... there looked to be a 2x4 plate of "old gray" underneath as well. Easy answer is to have a small farm in the country side you wanted to add a horse trail anyway
Hi Bricksie and Jose.
Glad to see the Dream Team planning and discussing the future building ideas.
I do think that your ideas are excellent, however the availability of parts should always dictate where you work for any given day. I don't think I've ever commented this early in a video before!! Thanks for awesome content btw!!!!
there has got to be space in the countryside for a hobby farm?!?
pig/farm into the countryside would be best/most logical placement
Firstly, maybe make a petting zoo/ranch/horseback riding place in the countryside. Also i think that the bridge in the zoo is too steep
The small exhibit up front should be the new red pandas
Under 15 mins crew
Love the zoo, I think you should expand the elephants a little on the the lion habitat so the have more outdoor space and their larger. The lion’s habitat looks a bit too big compared to the Elephants. Also elephants aren’t known for going into caves
The zoo look really great, I love the little cascade, cleaver design!!! The Panda exhibit also look great!!!
Sooo good ❤
Briksie , why don’t you make a rock like in the movie of the lion king ? On the right side . Greetz Mark
Awesome update! Can't wait to see the finished zoo in the city
I need more ms bricky
What are the microphones you use? I need to get some and yours sound great. The ones I bought are crap.
Do they connect to smart phones?
awesome video jordan the zoo is looking amazing great job
move the gators under the boardwalk
Hey Jordan, love the zoo. I was thinking is the elephant exhibit meant to be in olive green since they typically live in savannahs
When are the kids joining
The question everyone needs answered
Team bricksie go zoo looking
Nice job. I like the idea of each area or quadrant having its own color themed tiling. I think that will make it pop more.
Er!! I’m no expert, but I don’t think Elephants live in caves??
Is it possible to move the monkeys towards the fence line just to make an easier access to the artic area perhaps.
Elephants dont live in a cave.
Is it possible to build a shed behind the elephants instead if you remove part of the rocks. I think that would be a more common soultion where they can have like a sleeping area.
was ms bricksie into lego before she met you jordan? or did u get her into it? just curious!
They need to make some molded giraffes, brick built just isn't the same
Would the bridge from Ninjago City Markets fit in the zoo? Maybe create one similar to it and use its techniques to tack it down at angle.
The farm animals being in the zoo is cute and I do like it, but man does it take up a ton of space that could be used on animals that'd need to be in the zoo.
Excited for that Elephant expansion.
Also love the panda exhibit
There's no reason there can't be elephants or lions out in the countryside 🤣
zoo is really looking fantastic. other than zoos are inhumane lol. but the diversity of each enclosure is really nice
I think it would be nice with studs on the bridge so you can put mini figs on the bridge. It looks a bit empty now maybe.
Barn animals on a farm in the countryside??
🐼 🦁 🐒 🐻
If you make a farm/petting zoo in the countryside, add in a cornmaze in the shape of the Bricksie "B"!!
I really hope that's your daughter. I can't hear the sound but the video personally creeps me out... I'm feeling theres something not right...
First!
I have watched since a year ago
New comers should watch your old videos and learn the old channel name Jordbricks, live by the brick... die by the brick...
THAT PANDA EXHIBIT IS ADORABLE! 🥹
