I was on the isle of Capri by myself as a young boy of 17 years old in 1961 traveling by ship to Haifa Israel to spend a year living on a Kibbutz. I was only there for one afternoon f my youth as our ship was only in Naples for 24 hours--but- I have never forgotten that day! Although I have traveled extensively throughout the word during my lifetime I have never been back to Capri-thanks to your wonderful video, now at 78 years of age I have had the opportunity to pretend to return! It's such a pleasure to see this and his other videos on this premier island. I can't wholeheartedly return in person because It was where I learned my father was dying and I was about to become an adult orphan, but I but can still taste the charms at a distance. I would urge folks to stay overnight(s), maybe during less intense shoulder seasons. At least have meals there, which are often levels above touristy.

Wow! 4 hours! I didn't read the part about the two days until it was over. I was thinking "This guy must be some kind of super athlete", especially when you were on the endless stairs towards the end. Still quite a challenge on any day. Thanks again for another great tour. You truly have the best job in the world!
Yeah, those stairs were killer mainly because it was such a hot day. :) I had to stop and take a breather every minute. By the way...my job is a high school math teacher. :) This channel is just a hobby. :)

If you looked at Prowalks channel you will see that he had shown all these places in Capri before. Two years ago he filmed Capri in 9 separate videos and here the approach is different, he consolidated, and filmed all in one video, that's why it took him 4 hours in two days.

Capri seriously looks like a fantasy world! My girlfriend and I are watching this in our living room here in NYC and our jaws are both dropped on the floor with amazement. Very very expensive too. You mostly see Swedes, Germans, or Norwegians or other well to do European Union citizens in the Vlogs. Not very many Italians. As they can't afford it.
Search also islands like Paros , Santorini , Mykonos , Rhodes , Crete , Milos , Ios , Naxos , Syros ... I'm from Greece and I promote our islands haha. Nevertheless Italy has so many beautiful coastal villages and towns , but also many beautiful cities both in north and in south ,like Capri . Hope you will plan to travel in southern Europe !!! We have great climate here and many many beautiful places all around Greece, south Italy, south France and Spain. Dont forget also our cuisines , and our wine tradition !!!
As someone who probably will never get a chance to visit these places, I appreciate this very much. It is as if I am really there walking around these gardens and shops and homes and beaches. Reminds me of the concept in the movie Total Recall ... if you can get memories of the trip imprinted in your brain without having to go there, why spend all the money going there just to bring back a few souvenirs :=) I hope the day is not far off when you will be able to redo this in 3D and I will be able to watch!

I think I bought two granitas there. :)....and then took a taxi back to the Marina Grande where I filmed the first part of the walk. Hi, I am from Tokyo, Japan. Thank you for the very detailed video of Capri. Tiberius is my favorite Roman emperor and I travelled all the way to the island 20 years ago. I took a bus from Rome to Naples, and then boat to Capri, and on foot to Villa Jovis. I thought imperial couriers could easily deliver documents within a day except winter time when the sea is very rough. I noted not many tourists visited Villa Jovis at that time, but it was extremely interesting experience for me.

It wasn't a formal walking tour...just something fun to do to pass the time. ....but the quality of the live streamed videos are not very good.

Hey Clark, no, a few months ago while I was there I posted up a live video that I filmed with my phone. I was talking with the people who were leaving comments. It wasn't a formal walking tour...just something fun to do to pass the time. ....but the quality of the live streamed videos are not very good.

Great video(s)! My favorite walking tour channel. I hope that someday I will visit these places in person and walk (or roll at least) around the coastlines of Italy (and many other places too). But until then, these are the perfect motivation videos for me. :)
