Missed you guys. Welcome back. You can certainly see how people can mistake the pileated woodpeckers for Ivory billed woodpeckers. I personally believe they are still around, albeit in extremely low numbers and in extremely remote areas, possibly in Louisiana or Mississippi etc
Fantastic video and thumbnail! The pheasant comment made me laugh so hard ('do I count'?)... I really enjoyed the pileated, male yellow sapsucker and titmouse (they're so cute! I've never seen one... hopefully some day soon) and of course everything. Looks like you guys had a great trip, thank you for sharing it with us!
Thanks so much for sharing another wonderful video like always, I am in Florida doing some birding myself 😂I am super happy to see the Rose spoonbill for the first time 🐦❤️
Shiawassee is my neck of the woods! You need to come back during the summer and do the drive, there is always a ton of stuff in the back of the refuge. You also need to come back to Michigan to get the Kirtland’s warbler. You get into their territory about an hour and a half north of Shiawassee and there is a stop along the way up north where you can probably get a yellow headed blackbird.
Thanks for the tips. I can imagine it would be a great place at a more seasonal time of year. We definitely left Michigan with the sense that we want to go back and see more, so I hope that can happen.
Thank for the Muskrat footage 😊 I could start a new TH-cam channel on just them alone lol. There’s something about them I quite like, luckily I have lots of them right out back of my property.
Come to Israel! I'm 14 and I saw 251 species since the start of the year while only being able to actually go birding on Saturday (school) i think a week here would totally help ... Although I don't know how accessible Israel is right now but it's pretty safe if you manage to get a flight😉
Our rules for the 300 Bird Challenge mean that we are only allowed to count birds on the eastern side of North America.... BUT! Outside of this challenge, we'd love to visit different countries to see all the birds we can 😊🐦 Thanks for watching!
@@BritHikesOntario oh ok, this is your first video I watched so I wasn't aware about the rules.. regardless, I'd like to see you here when the challenge is over, good luck 😊
Thanks again for sharing your adventure. You and Sara show people things they've never seen before! What a gift!!
Thank you for your supportive comments, we appreciate it 😊
That was wonderful. I hope you see lots of new birds in Florida.
Thanks Nathan, we just got back and the editing has begun!

Thanks Marcus, appreciate that.
The Search for The Ivory-billed Woodpecker. Sounds like a good TH-cam series 😉

Thanks!
Have you been there long? We just got back on Sunday. Loved watching the spoonbills, too!
I being here for a week and I am going back to New York on Saturday 👍
I love the road trip format (although there's no place like home). I look forward to the Florida footage too. Oh, and I'd say "Lesser"!
For the Scaup? I'll add it to the randomiser 😉
Appreciate the ID 😊

I hope you don't take it as an insult when I say that you cross my mind when I see a Muskrat 😉😂
I've been waiting for the vids to return!! Welcome back
Thanks bud, appreciate it. More to come soon 😊
Great video! The migrants will be arriving very soon!!
Thanks Tracy, the warbler bonanza is underway. Looking forward to making the most of it 😁
Those Ruddy Ducks sure are doing a good job of alluding you.
Well there's always one ridiculous nemesis in a year 😆
Last year was Redhead lol
The sapsucker was my favorite of the new birds this time! Hoping you start to pump those numbers up high during migration!!!
IT HAS BEGUN!!! 😆
That Sapsucker was very accommodating lol
Your storytelling ability is elite! Love your videos!
Thank you!
