@Extroversal I tried using her in beginning of my Umi Deck. The effect of Maiden of the Aqua is negated as long as there is a face-up Field Spell Card, so if my opponent plays one, she's no longer treated as Umi.
@Extroversal Usually, the tougher decks have a field spell that's made to help them succeed. Have you tried Lantern Shark? It seems no one recommends it but it can get the job of getting Kairyu-Shin out.

U have To Play the lvl 4 umi Monster, that makes IT much more consistent with the Reef of kairyu shin

@HagglingtheDirections yeah IT depends on the oppenents Deck But If u cant get an kairyu on the field its Better To have it
