Not only is this a great character theme in general, but the introduction to this theme was handled PERFECTLY. It let you know that we're no longer on the slow paced GX era of dueling. Showcasing Jack Fusion Summon, multiple Special Summon, and Synchro Summon TWICE in one turn. The theme is telling you, "Welcome to the next generation of dueling, and here to greet you is the King of this generation."

Its unfortunate, i personally enjoyed Arc-V and i didnt think it was bad but the biggest problem for me is that it had the ultimate potential to rise up and be better than every other series but it was all wasted potential in the end, the concept of bringing back old characters, having all the summoning methods but in the end we were left with dissapointment

From all of the yugioh characters introduced up until now (Vrains), if i have to pick one who deserves to be the king of duel, it is Jack. Not because of his cards, there exist much better cards than Jack's. It is because of his personality, which is perfect for someone called "KING". No one ever come close, never.

By plot armour, I meant the fact that because Seto is the original rival, and is generally the favoured of the two, I believe he would be given more preferential treatment if such a matchup was ever animated. 2. I still agree with the OP that Jack was the King - yes, Seto had his empire which he inherited from his father, but he was never referred to or viewed as a King, merely a conglomerate powerhouse with elite dueling skill. Jack on the other hand was universally recognised as the King, even after he lost to Yusei. Plus Jack had far more character development, and was a more important character in his respective show in my opinion; Seto's biggest claim to relevancy is the fact he hosted Battle City and the Grand Championship, but neither were necessary components of their arcs, they just made it easier to move the plot along. Jack being a signer (the legendary signer with Burning Soul no less) and part of Team 5Ds made him far more important. In my opinion. 3. If we're going exclusively by anime cards, Jack objectively stomps Seto, except his DSOD iteration, which is a toss up. I will admit though, if Seto had access to Blue-Eyes support which he doesn't use in the anime, he'd probably have a better chance and could get a win, however Red Dragon Archfiend support is also powerful so it could be a toss up, but I still personally favour Jack in the match up. This is just one man's opinion though.

It reminds me of that Wipe out mode in where you speed up constantly while the track changes colors and you have to literally enter a trance to be able to continue with the constant speed up until you end with tunnel vision while everything seems to go at the same speed as you don't notice how fast you driving unless you are looking while not playing.

Honestly, whenever I saw Jack dueling on Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V, I always imagined this music playing in the background during the turns he played "Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend" or "Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend"...or both.
I wish they did a remix of this theme when he returned in Arc-V. It would have been great I think (assuming we couldn't just have this instead). The theme they gave Crow was really good. He should have gotten one.
This theme along with Akiza are the best from 5ds, long live Jack Atlas❤️ 🐉 Also, this music along with Akiza's theme fits perfectly in the classic Need for Speed series, mainly 3 and high stakes ❤️

Seto Kaiba is a joke, Its easy to turn his own power against him and his laughably rash tactics open gaping holes in his strategy. Jack on the other hand is smarter and more powerful with tactics that overwhelm but don't leave him open to counter attack. Plus he is not a snotty silver spooned douche like Kaiba or at least not in the English dub. In the English dub we see him evolve from some one obsessed with wining to some one that sees the bigger picture and becomes a better man. His heart softens just enough but his strength never suffers for it. Jack is a beast.
You do realize you're comparing a character from a Yugiof era where vanilla Dark Magician was considered powerful to the Synchro era right? Why do you think for the new movie and games they are bringing out new Blue-Eyes support? It's so that the duels set in the old anime are as exciting as later series. You have to look at each character within their own universe and within Kaiba's he's an exceptionnal duelist. Additionally, Kaiba is not a snotty, silver-spooned douche. The whole point is that his life was awful as an orphan and when he was adopted he was pushed to do nothing but work and try to survive under an abusive father's scorn. And in the end, he was able to flip his father off, take over his company and do a much better job at running it. It's perfectly fine if you like Jack more than Kaiba, I like them both about the same, but at least bother to present both characters properly and as they are...
Renegade Vile you make good points. I like Jack better because he softens up a bit later in the show wile kaiba never changes and their attitudes annoy me up until Jack became less aggressive. At least in the English dub.
I can understand that. I like Kaiba better because he doesn't change overly much. He kind of goes against the anime deuteragonist trope because in a lot of shows it's almost mandatory that the "anti-hero" deuteragonist goes more good (see Vegeta for one of the original examples). Kaiba stays the same douchebag throughout and it's oddly refreshing. Well, he does soften up a little because he is respectful towards Yami Yugi most of the time.

They won't, it doesn't matter if they own the soundtrack, they're still not going to play it, it just doesn't work that way. The only time they ever used soundtracks from different shows was in Bonds Beyond Time. I'd love to hear Jack's old theme, but it just ain't gonna happen.

They did use Yugi/Atem's theme in the final episode of GX. Sure, it was remixed/rearranged, but it was still Passionate Duelist. Why not do the same for Jack? Nothing is stopping them from having some form of Jack's theme in Arc-V for the actual duel with him after the Friendship Cup, especially when the guy who was in charge of 5Ds is in charge of Arc-V as well.

It reminds me of that Wipe out mode in where you speed up constantly while the track changes colors and you have to literally enter a trance to be able to continue with the constant speed up until you end with tunnel vision while everything seems to go at the same speed as you don't notice how fast you driving unless you are looking while not playing.
It's not used in arc-v when jack first duels. I don't know if there's any rights issue, but I think it would be awesome if they get to use this piece.

Honestly, whenever I saw Jack dueling on Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V, I always imagined this music playing in the background during the turns he played "Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend" or "Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend"...or both.
I wish they did a remix of this theme when he returned in Arc-V. It would have been great I think (assuming we couldn't just have this instead). The theme they gave Crow was really good. He should have gotten one.

Neither have I. It's all in memes and such. It looks like they're at the pool, and they're turned around. Yuma's arguing with this guy and you can see two girls in the background. One has blond hair and the other has magenta-ish pink.
I think it's them, but at the same time 5D's takes place WAY after the original and GX takes place ten years after the original, so it doesn't make sense. Plus they're like twelve... And Aki was eighteen or so in 5D's... So if you are in an animated series you can age backwards!
I don't think they can Zexal and Arc V seem to take place in an alternate universe So I doubt people from 5ds could appear on the show sadly :(

Seto Kaiba is a joke, Its easy to turn his own power against him and his laughably rash tactics open gaping holes in his strategy. Jack on the other hand is smarter and more powerful with tactics that overwhelm but don't leave him open to counter attack. Plus he is not a snotty silver spooned douche like Kaiba or at least not in the English dub. In the English dub we see him evolve from some one obsessed with wining to some one that sees the bigger picture and becomes a better man. His heart softens just enough but his strength never suffers for it. Jack is a beast.

You do realize you're comparing a character from a Yugiof era where vanilla Dark Magician was considered powerful to the Synchro era right? Why do you think for the new movie and games they are bringing out new Blue-Eyes support? It's so that the duels set in the old anime are as exciting as later series. You have to look at each character within their own universe and within Kaiba's he's an exceptionnal duelist. Additionally, Kaiba is not a snotty, silver-spooned douche. The whole point is that his life was awful as an orphan and when he was adopted he was pushed to do nothing but work and try to survive under an abusive father's scorn. And in the end, he was able to flip his father off, take over his company and do a much better job at running it. It's perfectly fine if you like Jack more than Kaiba, I like them both about the same, but at least bother to present both characters properly and as they are...

I can understand that. I like Kaiba better because he doesn't change overly much. He kind of goes against the anime deuteragonist trope because in a lot of shows it's almost mandatory that the "anti-hero" deuteragonist goes more good (see Vegeta for one of the original examples). Kaiba stays the same douchebag throughout and it's oddly refreshing. Well, he does soften up a little because he is respectful towards Yami Yugi most of the time.
