That material you removed, made up of decomposed leaf litter, is excellent for the garden as a soil conditioner and a source of organic matter. It can also be used for potting plants and shrubs.
nice thought, but chances tend to be high that critter or bird carcasses, or bird nests are in the pipes. given, compost, but not necessarily the kind of stuff to you'd want to safely put in a pot in the house ;)

I can't honestly see a bird building a nest in a pipe that channels rainwater/ moisture downwards, it would be like someone going camping and pitching their tent under a waterfall, possible but not desirable or recommended.

Genau SO sehen unsere Regenwasserklappen vermutlich von Innen aus. Aber die Hausverwaltung ist wohl an deren Reinigung nicht interessiert :-D Bei uns spült es die Fugen an der Fassade locker und das Waser steht als Pfütze an der Stelle, wo das Rohr in die Drainageschicht geht. Unten in den Kellern tritt es wieder aus der Fassade heraus und läuft in die Kellerräume. Hm. Ob man das auch selbst als Mieter reinigen kann? :-D
So sah es in den Rinnen unter den Gittern aus an Tiefgarage. Mein Mann hat die Einsätze immer raus und ausgeschüttet, sonst wäre die Garage unter Wasser gestanden.

Hello Abu .. I did i with my high pressure jetter, which you can also find in other videos in the sorted playlist of my channel. I have it fixed to my Van. This blockage in the video could have been removed with a little effort using a household jetter if not too small..

I have hydraulic and remote control..Bought in 2011. I think the part is good. Had hardly any problems..Good is that it can be converted from one car to the next car because it is on a metal frame with a tank. So you can use the device for years 15 20 years maybe ..www.rioned.de/aquajet
