Does anyone think the HAJ lineup looked more like they would be called 'Sugababes' compared to the original lineup? I mean when the original lineup came out, they were more edgy and cool.'Sugababes' didn't sound fitting for their vibe. The HAJ lineup was all about wearing dresses, being sexy, doing dance routines, and smiling. They were more "sugary" and "babe-like" lol. Just a thought.

Amelle is great but she should have replaced Heidi not Mutya. Keisha and Mutya are essential to the Sugababes sound. Heidi to me has always been the weakest link.

The best incarnation of the group by a million miles. The only improvement could be the fabulous Jade added as a foursome. Siobhan just screeches and Mutley only growls, and neither are ornamental.
Amelle was not singing live, she doesn't sound that good live, they re-recorded Mutya's parts with her voice for this, plus Mutya is all over the chorus 1:08 she sounds awfull and that part was meant to be soft 1:44 totally out of the key 2:46 terrible 2:55 attrocious I highly respect Amelle and all of the girls that had been in the band, but honestly, she is a mediocre vocalist...obvsly she was put in a difficult position to replace someone as unique as Mutya...anyway thank God it was the way it was...now the OG are back!
They got their first number 1 when Heidi joined (and she was in the band for 10 years unlike Siobhan who left after one album). Mutya's vocals are amazing but Amelle is also good. Jade is as good as Keisha and much nicer. For me the Sugababes are Heidi, Amelle (or Mutya) and Jade.
