Yes, please, make a video about how to increase spinal flexibility! And what do you think about the kids, which ptogress in the brace? I have seen incredible x-rays of teens, who have worn religiously their braces and their spines have still curved to insane degrees... Also, what would you say about bracing in adults. There is some evidence, that bracing can be helpful in adults as well. Especially in combination with scoliosis corrective exercises. Some people even achieve cobb angle reduction after skeletal maturity. After all, if a curve can get worse in adulthood, that means it could also get better, right :)?

Kids who progress in the brace...it could be due to a strong genetic tendency, or really, we don't know. Adult bracing hasn't been studied much and I hope that changes. I am on the fence about it because it can cause some rib deformities and there are so many comorbidities that we have to consider. They are also much stiffer. I do believe it can change in adulthood for the better, but it takes work!

@AlignTherapyUtah Well, the ribs are already deformed :). And actually the curves aren't necessarily rigid in adults. Especially the lumbar curves usually remain flexible. Well, maybe not as flexible as in their teenage years, but still flexible enough for some improvement to take place.
And about the kids, who progress on the brace, i wonder how it is mechanically possible.. given, that the brace constantly pushes against the curves

Does brace help at the end of after growth spurt?

@@huinachen1415 a brace can help as long as they are still growing. Growth spurts usually happen in the middle of growth and then slow down. Good question!
